Wow...same issue I got. Thanks for showing the part numbers. I got same year of truck too. Ordering from NAPA today...awesome video. Glad you dont have to empty the fluids...HUGE help.
Nice video Mike! I just love working on the old cars and trucks... No complicated connectors and fragile wires or computers to blow up... I recently went through my Muncie M20 in my 69' Z28 and so simple. While the new cars are great, they are not as much fun to work on.
Hey Mike nice job. That's a great little tool Worked perfect I'll have to remember that one. Got your stickers the other day there very cool looking thank you very much buddy. Have a great week👍
Yes Jeff, when I get the 55 over to the west side I can really start doing some real work on her, right now it’s just small things but it is really starting to add up, it has already come a long ways since I got it two years ago, can’t wait to put the 57 next to her, thanks for watching, my brother
Yes and I was ready to pull the pan, the truck will have been parked for about 5 days when we get back over to it on Saturday, the real test will be then, dry under the truck, or wet, I will find out soon
Great work Mike! I never even knew there was a seal in there! Jeez learn something new everyday. Hopefully you got your leak fixed it sure lookes like it the next day. Catch you next time man 👍

Nice job, good to know. I'm installing the same transmission in the GMC. I'll be rebuilding mine on the bench but you never know later on!
That should be a good transmission for you
Awesome thank you so much
Mike just curious never did it. Do you have to drain the trans fluid before you replace the seal
No you don’t, it’s real easy , but I would get the seal replacement tool with seal it’s under 10 bucks
