These kind of polyfill filters needs changing every few days its better if u had sump fillter with pollyfill.

It's an aquarium pipe connector you will get at the aquarium shop,yes it will work without this connector

Fake. Doesn't work. Me and 5 other people try'd this (2 of them own and breed fish to sale) and it surprisingly doesn't work at all. It's filtration just made a muddy waterfall 😅.

Jason, I think your filter media is not tight enough to stop the mud from getting back into the tank after the water gets filtered.
