Concerning the question that Nancy answered about the aunt who is living in sin but yet professing to be a Christian, how we ought to relate to them. I do appreciate how she mentioned to be honest about their sin, but one question I still have is if they are a professing Christian would the mandate paul gives in 1 corinth 5:11 to "not associate or even eat with such a person" not be applicable even if it's as challenging as being a family member?
I don't think that's what it means... I think Paul was talking about Christian fellowship, as in church meals that are bigger/different than family meals... In the context that seems clear.
