- Sky News host Erin Molan says the Secret Service is under “immense pressure” to explain how someone was able to shoot at former US President Donald Trump.
Ms Molan said there are questions on why the Secret Service was unable to put an agent on the “slightly sloped roof” which the shooter gained access to.
The US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has “got to go”, she said.
Why is this woman still head of the secret service ????????? She has shown how little she understands and how incompetent she is , that she is still in her present position has made the government look like the laughing stock that it clearly is !

Systemic incompetence = management incompetence. This was a classic case of government enabled incompetence. There are those responsible and those accountable (1) she is responsible as the head of the USSS and (2) agent in charge of that specific event is accountable - both most be replaced.

When Trump takes over on January 20, 2025, he should appoint Dan Bongino as the new director of the Secret Service (SS). They need a real former SS agent to head the agency and bring sanity back to that supposedly esteemed agency.

DJT should contract with a more elite security team than the rag-tag group provided for him by the Secret Service. Obviously, the SS is not up to the task, or perhaps their hearts are really not in it. Either way, the former president deserves far better security than what was demonstrated in Pennsylvania. Perhaps he could contract with Israel for a more upscale team?
