マジなんでオリンピックで宮浦の扱いあんなだったんや…ロクな競争もなく西田全試合スタメンは納得いかなすぎるよ
BSで殆どのネーションズリーグを視聴してましたが、宮浦さんは相手のブロックの精度が高い試合で、アタックがシャットダウンされ始めると弱気なプレーになってしまう事が多々あったと記憶してます。石川さんから激を飛ばされたという記事をご存じですか？宮浦は筋肉量もパワーもチーム①番なのに、、、と。。。とても歯がゆい気持ちを抱いていたのが伺えます。言われたご本人も尚更でしょうね。西田さんだって、分かってるけど求められているプレーは出来ないんだ！と涙した時期があったようで苦しんだようです。
宮浦さんはこれからの選手でしょうし、次の監督さんからも期待されると思います。
西田さんはリーグを重ねる度にサーブの精度も小技のテクニックも上がっていきました。時には相手チームの隙間にボールをスマートに落としたりして、相手コートがとても見えるようになってました。そんな進化にビックリ。私たちは努力や葛藤の姿をみれないですが、既にパワーだけのアタッカーではないんだ、という認識に変わった日でした。
リーグ終盤では自信がプレーにも現れ、シャットダウンされても強気で相手のブロックを遠くに跳ね返すほどの場面が多く見られるようになりました。チーム内でも身長が低い選手なのに、相手が完璧なブロック出来たとしても、パワーでボールを吹き飛ばしていまうでの、相手選手が呆れていた、と言うような記事もありました。
だだのバレーファンでしかない私ですが、分かる～ってなりました。
これからこちらにフルの試合がどんどんアップされると思いますので、ブラン監督が何故西田さんをスタメンに考えたのか考察しながらプレーを観ていただけたらファンとして嬉しい限りです。
