    Nice review, many crossbows that shoot over 400fps for under $1000.00 even under $500.00 that shoot well and hold up well, are on the market now, but the best technology is going to cost money. Competition is good, keeps raising the bar.

    Thanks for the video Justin! Crossbows get a lot of hate for some reason and who cares really opinions don’t matter I love compound hunting but next week I have rotator cuff surgery and it will be crossbows from now on for me and that’s ok because I love both forms of archery and this one will be what I buy ❤

    Look at what appears to be a missing screw in the left hand riser (right side as viewed in video) at 1:03 and then again at 1:43 into the video. Quality at its best, not. Too many fasteners for them to forget to install, loosen or fallout in use etc. I'll leave it to others to work out the quality bugs.

    • @gierhedd75
      @gierhedd75 2 месяца назад

      You are correct! Good eye! I even pulled up a couple other vids of this bow just to compare.
      That screw done went on vacation. Haha
      I'll chalk it up to a fluke at this point, but definitely a good reminder to go over every inch of any piece of equipment and make sure everything is as it should be - including properly torqued fasteners.

    • @BillSmith-u7u
      @BillSmith-u7u 8 дней назад

      I think that it has nothing to do with quality of the bow, but everything to do with the assembly of bow by the user. How many bows do these people have to assemble every year to do their reviews.

    Come on guys, where is all this technology headed .how fast do we need to be ?. I talked to a guy today at Academy a fellow customer who said he had a wal mart bow that shoots over 300 FPS and he couldn’t stop the arrows. Really where are you going. A deer can drop a full body width in 3 tenths of a second. That’s fact. A crossbow can sling an arrow at 440 FPS or faster you do the math this is getting crazy.
    On this bow let me say it’s beautiful the look and I can imagine the feel seeing the guy shoot it it all comes together perfect. But seriously I can’t see myself in a tree stand before dawn trying to load a broad head down a barrel that ant there to begin with. Keep up the good work but let’s stay in bounds. Just a rant. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

    I have nothing against x-bows at all but these manufacturers are getting a bit ridiculous with there prices. $2,300 is nuts. You can get a very nice rifle for that price and have a lot less maintenance and be able to shoot further.
    $2,300....smh.

    Can we please stop with the bickering about traditional vs crossbow, etc?
    If Otzi or Daniel Boone had access to this crossbow, they would use it. If George Washington could equip his men with Barretts, he would have.
    Still takes skill to use. Still requires skills to stalk. Still gets people out from behind a keyboard and into the woods.
    Let's stop all the in-fighting. Stuff like this is why folks are driven away from the sport and into the arms of weirdo Tik Tokkers.

    This is and has been Ravin technology Ravin has had all these features for years and also you notice the bolts that come with crossbow are not the 400 grain bolt which is how and where they are getting there speed rating from so with the trx515 it shoots 515 with 409 grain bolt but you have and get the 445 bolt which puts it at 495 same on the tx440 it comes with 445 grain bolt but it has speed based off 400 grain bolt that’s 440 the heavy bolt drops the tx440 to 420 with the 445 grain bolt so it’s marketed as worlds fastest crossbow BUT you are not to hunt with that bolt crazy huh ten point has basically let Ravin develop all the technology then just copied it and it’s not even accurate RAVIN crossbow speeds are TRUE SPEEDS with 400 grain bolt and every Ravin I have seen is actually hotter out box then listed FPS my R29x is rated to 450 but chrono at 455 FPS I will say I like ten point crank

    The introduction of crossbows to archery season wasn't motivated by improving the sport. While certain individuals, like those with age or disabilities, may need crossbows, their inclusion is mainly influenced by companies that paid lobbyists to promote their agenda.👎🏽
