This is still my favourite Iona line-up. I first got into the band with Beyond These Shores, and always loved Nick Beggs' contributions on Chapman stick and bass, plus Mike's interpretations of Dave Fitzgerald's earlier sax parts plus (from the studio recordings) Troy Donockley's whistle lines. And of course Mike's backing vocals supporting Joanne on tracks like 'Kells Theme' and 'The Island' (as on the 'Heaven's Bright Sun' live album). I video-taped and watched (to death) this TV show!

Im late to the Iona party. Used to hear this amazing ambient track in B&Q when i was in store and itbturns out, it was "Matthew the Man". Used soundhound to find it. Was always a Beggs fan so that explained the familiarity of the Chapman sound!! Im not necessarily religious but Kells and Beyond these Shores are excellent musically.
