Captain here. Basically Bardomagno is a comedian-like band (composed by great musicians in my opinion) but the most exciting thing the way they build lyrics. All their songs have a satyrical-medieval topics: In this case the "feif" (which a rare word in english but commonly used in italian) is a piece of land owned by a landlord and farmed by a lower class of servants. Yup, Middle-age b*** 😎
In this song there are a lot of puns and jokes based on a not-so-veiled meaning. The comparison is between the ancient system, ruled by the Emperor, and the Fascim period in Italy. The reference of the Eagle flying over Europe, the Marching upon Rome, Cutting the senators are obvious, but there’s more.
Statement’s like “It was better when it was worse”, “Back in HIS times, the trains were on time”, “HIS only fault was the friendship with Hitler” “But He made good things too” are all referred to Mussolini and still used by nostalgics to justifying that period. That’s why in Bardomagno’s feudal dream “it was better when it was better, “the execuneers in-time” “He will never bond with the “Craut” (hitler) because He (the emperor) will be already german, so there will be no “only error/fault” (the friendship with hitler).
All references about a “sanitary Monarchy” and 5-G are from the period of pandemic, so basically they are mocking people of the far right that protested in a Q-anon-like way against vaccines.

I love Bardo Magno, and I really love Mohammed Abdul's voice. But it is good that he does not give up Nanowar of Steel for this. He actually seems to be opening several concerts this summer with Bardo Magno for NoS, so he will be on stage twice every evening! :D

In their ironic narrative, "HE" is the emperor. But in reality they are mocking fascists that usualy says "When he (Mussolini) blablabla"

Trust me, those lyrics are not that serious as you may think...they are (for the most parts) mocking the way of thinking of some italian people....the ones that thinks "We lived better the old times (usually fascist nostalgic)" or how the coronavirus put a lot of importance in hospital and sanitary, turning us into a "health dictatorship" (yeah i know, thats dumb as hell) and so on....if you know that, you can see how "not serious" these lyrics are 🤣
