Please make a video about v 2.6 update of Sony WH 1000xm4. Some people have complained about deterioration in ANC and Sound Quality after the update. I've put the update of my XM 4 on hold until i see your video..
My xm5 battery has decreased from 8 hrs with ANC on to barely 5:30 hrs i took them to repair since they are still under warranty but they say the buds are fine, anyone else havin battery drain issues?
@@MrRockabanda no problem with my once. They work well. One issue...well mostly an annoyance is when I bump the headphones they take a few seconds to turn back to proper NC. I was mostly interested to see if there were any improvements in sound and NC area but since there is nothing I don't care for the other features. Also from the vid I have the impression the phone calls are slightly worse so my reasoning to stick with the 2.1.0

ANC issues fixed (where micros would pick up things ad random for no reason), in some cases better, haven't noticed any sound worsening or improvement since I use EQ on it , auto connection also better. What I did find very bothersome, is that you must update to a higher IOS or Android now because they use the new Sony app, and you need the new Sony app to Firmware update, and you cant manually update ... that's not ok
I want to buy a tws for great sound quality and ANC. Please suggest me one. I heard that WFXM5 has left right dis balance battery issue. Please tell me about this also. Thanks.
For me there is a little more bass, soundstage is little more shriveled and noise cancelling is a little more prominent. Bluetooth signal is more stable from long distance. That's it.
In my opinion, as someone who owns Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones, I'm sure that this headphone has better noise canceling ability than before because when I clean the house with a vacuum cleaner, the previous version did not block all the noise, but this version blocks noise much better than before, although in your video you explained that it has not changed differently. But in my opinion, I think it has changed a lot and the sound quality it emits in the new version has a little less bass, not significant, the usage time is a little longer, but overall, there is not much change, in my personal opinion, it also depends on the users 🫡
I swear they sound more close to the AZ80 now, I was oddly enough trying a few buds side by side and the update came, then they moved up my list, maybe its placebo I dunno

After the update new Sound Connect app and firmware, I feel that the connection is not that stable as before with my WF while being in crowded environment where people are using many bluetooth at the same time. I adjust from Prioritise Sound Quality to Prioritise Connectivity. But it was still having unstable connection on my left earbud. So, I had to reset my earbuds and pairing new bluetooth connection. I hope it would help but still the same. Anyone having the same issue like me? Any solutions yet?
bro my new wf xm5 is always draining more battery in the right pod. The right pod battery ends when the left is still 20%. Should I return them? Is it normal?
Bass got real hit😢 i loved these for richer bass at 0 level..but after update to 4 that bass is not comingup even at 10..sony cant jusy decide the tweeting for all..sound quality got down
But the earbuds still has bad call quality, other end of line always says its like underwater when taking calls outside. Take note I tested both with Android and iPhone. The Headphones version no issue, but main purpose of the earbuds is for quick calls.
@@XEXE-j5j i mean yea the earbuds look much worse, but the headphones are pretty bad looking too. You would fkn hope theyre more comfortable! Doesnt mean they have to be ugly.
Wfxm4s were really big. I like the look of the 5's better, but I do wish they kept the same matte finish as the 4's or some kind of lip along the outside. I never once dropped my 4's but the 5's are real slippery beans.

Agreed on the sound quality degrade in WF-XM5. However, I did notice a bit difference (better) in terms of the ANC on the newer firmware.

I think there is always a lot of placebo with these firmware updates. ANC and sound quality won’t be affected so heavily.

You have the song labeled incorrectly in the sound test.

No it didn't. I have both. The XM5 is so much more comfortable and sticks out less.
