I bought one last week and I'm in love with it. ❤ Yes, it is Chinese but what is not made in China nowadays? I rode from Cork to Waterford, even though it is my first motorbike after 13 years and i felt pretty safe and comfortable. Much much better than the crap one i had to ride for my IBT. So far, i have nothing bad to say about it.
Benelli trk 702x, had mine for about 3 months , couple of build quality issues but at this price £7148 otr what can you expect . the bike is excellent to ride , brakes are fantastic , i love it and will have mine for a long time to come.
I,m looking for a new bike... I like the look of this bike,,but I like the look of the Benelli TRK 502 better,,, the screen on that bike just seems more all compassing (rounded) and its about a £1000 cheaper.And when you think of cheaper insurance too,plus better MPG... it looks good... Benelli have a new 552 coming out soon so maybe prices will drop even further.. Another thing ,,I like bikes with a center stand,,, the spoke wheel X models of both the 702 and 502 come with center stand s.. The mag wheel bikes do not,, lastly the X models have a greater seat height... I think you can go after market for the centerstand on the mag wheel model,,, for sure Benelli do not do things straight forward...cheers
Thanks for your feedback. Need to look up the 552. Yeah I think the X models comes with everything as standard. Decent level of spec on these. When you say the alloys don't last .. what do you mean?
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure Sorry ,,, What I mean,t was the alloy wheeled bikes do,nt come with a center stand,whereas the X models do,,, but the X models seat height is quite high (for me) and the alloys (road version ) is alot lower..Like I say "swings and roundabouts"
Thanks for the comment. This photo is supposed to be from the 702 based on the website. Initially I thought the exhaust was different. So clearly they have it wrong. Thanks again... having checked the website again it is the 702X. I thought you said you bought one. Take a look for yourself. the 502 has a completely different headlight cowl and headlight. Clearly not the same as the one pictured in my thumbnail.
Crap, I follow Polish buyers facebook page, so they already reported: terrible suspension with ONLY 140mm susp. Heavy, some engine issues, one total failure of engine reported, weak, makes noises, vibrates etc.....
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure when you search you will find even UK forum info such as: 1. The tiny windscreen is at best adequate and will need replacing with a larger one (i fitted the large screen option to the 502) 2. The motor is rough and intractable blow 3500 revs which means low gears (2-4) and high revs in built up areas which has been exacerbated by the lunatics who have applied blanket 20MPH . 3. The intractable nature is made worse because the engine "hunts" at fixed throttle openings which shows itself as surging. 4. Any largish throttle openings below ~50 mph causes juddering with the mirrors vibrating .. not comfortable.

Wow some feedback...yeah the suspension travel is on the low side. Was this the 702 or 502 you know of?

I went to test drive one last month and it had none of those problems you listed..
