The Warning Effect: the last song you heard is your new favorite. Also, the Lunario versions are great for the QOTMS songs. In some cases the Teatro Metropólitan version is a bit better in quality, but the passion and emotion of the Lunario versions can't be beat. You can't go wrong with those.

I was introduced to this band in February and quickly became a super fan of the Teatro Metropolitan concert, which is on a level all by itself. Now, I have fallen in love with their earlier material, just like this concert at Lunario. So raw and passionate. The maturation process to 2024 is so exciting to see that progression. Good to hear you're doing the album in order, the individual songs are great but even more amazing when you get the full story. Dany embodied her role as Crimson Queen so well that even her sisters were a little scared of her, quite a feat for someone usually discribed as a ray of sunshine. Mindblowing that they made this as teens, you are in for one hell of a ride!

Great reaction! I think in the context of this song, the look on her face is one of bewilderment. Like you said, it's not quite confusion, but she is surprised by what she feels, and Dany puts on one hell of a performance, completely embodying the Crimson Queen. Unbelievably they are 18 (Dany), 16 (Pau) and 13 (Ale] in this performance. This is the second song from Queen of the Murder Scene. One of my favorite concept albums that I've ever heard.
They play the whole album in this concert in chapters of 3 songs each. Dust to Dust was the prologue of the story and Crimson Queen is the start of chapter one. I would recommend just doing this whole concert a song at a time to get the full experience. I am sure others will tell you the meaning of each song in the comments and how it relates to the story they are telling. This song is the introduction of the main character and how she is feeling towards someone and how obsessed she is towards him. A masterpiece written by teenagers. This concept album will blow you away. This concert at Lunario will have all the songs from the QOTMS album in it. At the end of each chapter, there will be songs played from their previous album. Bare in mind that is the concert that debuted this album and it was performed. I'm Mexico City, where the altitude is high and the air is thin. As the concert goes on you can see the girls get tired, especially Ale but it takes nothing away from their performance. Dany will 'live' the character throughout this concert with passion and enthusiasm. She sings as though she is acting. Her vocals and facial expressions convey the lyrics perfectly. Every note delivered with pure emotion. There are vlogs by the band explaining the writing process and story on their The Warning site. Vlogs 23, 24 and 26. Mexico has a long, long tradition of generations of Mexican (and Mexican American) singers from Lola Beltran, Vicente Fernandez, Vicki Carr, and Linda Rohstadt who sing from emotions that the words first start in their hearts and that they then use it to fill the words being sung completely with those emotions. Dani does this with every song masterfully. You hear the song but you also feel the song. Its a mazing result for us the listeners. Why sing it if you can't feel it.
In the performance of this song @Foro Didi the battery for her guitar is dead and she basically sings the song acapella. You can see the terror in her eyes during the first seconds until she embraces the situation making it for me the most beautiful rendition of the song.

A bit of trivia for this song, Dany wrote this song without even meaning for it to be part of the story for the album, but it fit so well with the story that they added it.

Dany's guitar mic/pick-up failed and she basically did the whole song a cappella. It's an amazing performance. Nice Reaction! This live show at Lunario is where they played the whole album after it was released in 2018. The "Queen" does become obsessed with a guy and it progresses from there to madness. All songs are from the viewpoint of the Queen and Dany sings her Mad side and Pau sings the part of her Good side (although not much of that). Dany really changes her voice to match the "character" she's playing and it is awesome to listen to her. Enjoy the Journey!

Oh man, it's always so exciting to see someone 'get it' on their first watch of any of this album. I really like how you pay attention to everything, particularly Dany's expressions. I think the raised eyebrow look is at it's base a kind of earnestness; Maybe somewhere between pleading and exclaiming. She is SOOO good at expressing these deeper feelings of longing and vulnerable things akin to longing. When you're done with this album (which of course you really should watch all of at Lunario!), I do recommend Dany's 'Midnight Shows' from her vlogs. You'll get to see a lot more of her natural expression and hear some great tunes many do not know she's played with that. Thanks for this, made me smile a good bit.

Did you notice the makeup on her chest, under the red top and left hand? Like scratches or scorch marks, the inner evil trying to get out. At first, I thought it was her hair. Super scary for these themes to be coming from youngsters.
This concert coincided with the release of Queen of the Murder Scene album, on 11/25/2018. Dany is completely in character here. There may be technically better performances, but this captures all of the emotional impact.
i suggest reading the lyrics ahead of time that way you can be free to enjoy watching these girls in character mode, I also suggest sticking with this Lunarios concert and let these girls just pull you in with the amount of energy and passion they bring, This whole performance is RNR HOF material for best performance. Yes, this is the way to listen to and watch this concert. It was the full live debut of Queen of the Murder Scene in Mexico City in 2018. It's split into 4 chapters during the concert and in between chapters they perform other songs from their previous album XXI Century Blood. I'd stick with this concert footage for your reactions and follow the story.

You must watch it in sequence to get the full story.
