Tanev I just watched in these playoffs and he was still one of the best lock down D men in the league. At 25 or 35 he is still one of the best out there. Today's hockey players are not the cigarette smoking bottle of Wild Turkey a day athletes like the old days. They are useful well into their 30's.The end of his contract won't matter and you guys know that. He is worth that now for how he plays now.
another delusional leaf fan , tanev never help any team he was become better , i guess you didnt watch the players skating around him in calgary , toronto got older and slower
Tanev's contract is the price of doing business. OEL may work out, but I doubt it. If Hakanpaa (and his bum knee) plays 80 games total in the next two seasons for the Leafs, I'll eat my hat. I won't even mention the re-signing of Liljegren. The Leafs are my team, too, but if they're better, it's only marginally.
@@tdunph4250 you are right ...people were all over Brodie the last couple of years (especially this year) forgetting that was probably our second best dman in years one and two of his contract. Tanevs contract will probably be the same.
Bob is slowly improving all the time. Love it, we're starting to see the old Bob back that we love
What happen to Bob??
Man, all the guys i grew up watching on tv are getting old lol. 😂
Love them still, tho!
Just noticed how old Doug McLean looks bow
As we all are. Look in the mirror.

@@donniedoesdishes Donnie you just sit watching Hockey news peeing on Leaf fans, is this your Job ? do you get paid to do this or is it your hobbie?
Until Toronto gets rid of Brendan Shanahan ... what can they really do??
Love to listen to Bob and company.
I think Stamkos will be good for another 3 years I think Nashville is going to really good.I applaud Nashville for spending the money.
he is like nylander and jt powerplay specialist
My leafs got better on the blue line but the Tanev contract is not going to age well.
The Leafs might as well see if Pronger wants to play again

The last few years don’t matter, plenty of space on robidas island
@@yammie75 i agree ...all we have done is move piesces around the core 4 who have shown they just dont have "it" to lead us on deep playoff runs .
how did they get better , tanev did nothing in calgary and was 7th man in dallas
Well Tavares wore maple leaf PJs so they had to give him that contract
mccown has really aged in the last 5 years,is he sick?
he had two strokes last year
He had 2 strokes and was in bad shape. He actually has been improving lately
The Tanev deal is also ludicrous
