I love the original Verduro Green and that car was too nice to redo. I love all the cars you build - just something special about a straight original GTO…
will be watching this progress to see what other touches my Hobo version of this can have included (have your front and rear suspension is already sitting in boxes waiting for me to have the frame ready),
@@detroitspeed tagged you guys on the Instagram pics when I got the boxes of goodies. I'm blasting the frame now and after I paint it I'll put the parts on and tag you again, maybe do a little walk around video....it'll be a slooooooooow process. Chevelle SS that I bought 25 years ago for $1500 (came home in 3 separate trips so you know it was mint lol) Now I'm in a position to do something with it besides store dust on it. Initial iteration will just be a mild 5.3 as the rest of the car gets sorted and better power later.
@@detroitspeed That's what I love about the brand. Bringing all these cars up to date without worrying about imaginary rules of staying period correct.
hey, that is "avocado green" (not "pea" green), a very popular color in that era. just not sure about brown but I will say that a 1970 Cuda I saw in brown stood out among the others sitting next to it. Forgeline makes some far nicer wheels than that HRE. anyway, your videos and work are awesome.

Can't wait to see this one get the business.
We're not exactly a "purist" brand as you can see.

I need to be an employee at Detroit Speed. Just eye candy everywhere 😍
It makes the daily grind fun!
I’d be happy just cleaning up the shop on a daily basis😂
FOG TOWN same 🤣
Why would you be running x gen front end vs your own a body stuff??
The XGen offers enhanced suspension geometry and converts to rack and pinion steering.

Verdoro Green is the color. Sometimes called "Voodoo Green" in Pontiac circle's. ;-)
