Im glad they are improving a lot about the game, i only picked up hunt semi recently and its a really fun game and there are only a few gripes i have from a new players experience. Trading feels super common with a lot of weapons, shotbolt cross bow sure makes sense, but katana or shotguns? Dunno if thats something to do with server tick rate along with projectiles? Menu Ui is absolutely abhorrent from a new players pov, figuring out what all the different types of weapons actually do and which things i can equip at the same time took quite a bit of time to understand. Legendary hunters are borderline required unless you use sole survivor ones, a lot of builds just require certain perks and necro feels required if you play solo in duos or trios. A lot of the skins are really really really hard to spot and most people seem to use legendary hunters that are mainly brown/black/gray to blend in as optimally as possible which kinda makes me feel bad when i wanna play the reverend or mary or hillybillys daughter who all somewhat stick out, mary less so. Skin names on weapons when i kill someone make it super hard to tell what gun im actually picking up as i dont know the sounds or the shape of all the guns in the game yet along with all their variants. Prestige seems basically pointless unless you want the number to go out next to your name. Lose money and perks and hunters sure makes sense, but make me reunlock all the variants of guns again? I will have to pass on that one. Sometimes me and my friends run shotguns or i like using the shotbolt cross bow and we rush the boss kill everyone and then a team or 2 with long ammo comes and just waits for us to do something in the boss room, which we cant push them in the open really as we have close range weapons, they refuse to push us because they have long range weapons and they refuse to fight the other team leading to a situation where everyone just sits there for 30 mins or until someone gets bored and does something stupid. Games that just end in stalemate are generally just not very fun as you dont really get to play the game. Trading, Long Ammo, Prestiging, Meta Skins. The only other one that's commonly discussed is probably ping. Cheating has been a common discussion lately as well.
moving dummies should be implemented like, we're constantly dealing with people moving while trying to shoot them it's just part of the game and it feels like a no brainer addition
for having more players per map i think if simply adding more teams doesn't work they could still keep the same amount of teams for trios but let about 1-3 more players be in the match randomly. it would be (a duo) (2 solos not 3 cuz it would be too much) or (a duo and a solo)
As for the Loadout issue when it comes to terrible maps for your loadout, I have an idea. It would be awesome if we could choose our main loadout and a backup loadout in the lobby before matchmaking, then if your main loadout isn't going to work with the map you find yourself in, you could swap to the backup loadout before the match starts (before the "HUNT" banner pops up). Once it starts, there is no swapping. This way you still have the possibility that both loadouts might not be ideal for the conditions, but at least you could mitigate bringing a sniper rifle in a thunderstorm or ashbloom which should lower the number of people just leaving a match at the start.

honestly i've been playing this game for a while and pretty much never encoutered this issue and if anyone from outside of europe is playing on european servers that's a whole other issue that's not connected to the server quality since asia has it's own servers iirc
Before the fix thats in place, there was significant issues with hitting ai an other hunters. It is like a ref in a hockey game, its apart of the game now.
I genuinely don’t understand why there are no plan to put moving targets in the shooting range. This has been asked for by tons of people so people can better understand leading and such but you can’t practice anything with a standing still target other than damage drop off/damage data. Sure you can try to practice with another player but it’s not as simple
Crosshair placement being talked about huh? Genuinely hope its good news, because Crytek not allowing centered aiming was always the dumbest argument ever. Not one argument against it made sense. The only one Id have ever accepted is "Our code is too spaghetti, and it would be a mountain of work with risks to break many unrelated things, so we probably wont do it" but the issue is is that was never Crytek's argument. Theirs was basically "we designed it lowered, deal with it" which just was not the take to have.
The amount of times ive heard someone defend it, and make up some BS about it preventing headglitching... It makes you see more of the sky, and thats about it. But in a game like hunt, you still need to see more of the ground for traps, etc... so its just totally redundant. The only good reason for it is to stand out from other FPS-games... but the game already does that in plenty of other ways!

It’s because this community resists any change that might benefit the game. I think there are people who are just terrified that a centered crosshair would allow others to more easily adapt to Hunt/hit more shots. The fact of the matter is there are people that don’t want to mess with their muscle memory. There are many people (I personally know several) who treat a non-centered crosshair as a complete dealbreaker. I was even one of those people back when I first started. It was a shortsighted decision to try to force people into a lowered crosshair without a choice as if people wouldn’t just decide not to play. I’d love for everyone to have the option so everyone could choose whichever one they prefer. Like Hunter and Gunslinger.

I just want to make it clear, Rachta you are closest to the managers of Hunt and maybe you can clear it up, is there going to be a reset of KD after new engine release? I heard from few players/streamers that they plan to reset KD after new engine and for me it would be great cuz my first 600h games were terible cuz i was playing all the default setings on old pc and that kinda makes it harder now to get a decent stats and now im over 2k+ hours and since few months im sitting in one point. Since 2 or 3 months my Hunt dropped me from around 180-200 fps on medium and high settings to now 120-140 on shit settings and what ever i do nothing helps. Even if i turn everything to low i also tried it with Resolution and render scaling on the lowest but nothing helps. Someone have the same Problem or know how to fix?
any plans to change the way bosses work? I have introduced several friends to the game and bosses just ruin all the fun for them, even 50-100hr in, and I eventually just have to teach them how to cheese strat them
I finally completed my personal mission of gathering 100 uppercuts ingame, i have exactly 100 uppercuts spread across x amount of hunters i ´ found ´ in the bayou, i dont bother with prestige, i just a goal of hoarding 100 uppercuts from ingame hunters,, and so i bloody will.
dark places in the game realymake hard to see people maybe nice to have make the dark places automatically brighter the more you get close some time it gets brighter but not enough I believe.. too much brightness adjustmant on monitor make bright scenes to bright and makes hard to see around specially If u are burning
We need to put pressure on them as much as possible to keep single boss. Redditors are the only ones fighting for double boss in trios because they want to farm money for free and not having to earn it/fight for it. I've never had as much fun as I've had in Hunt the past few weeks with single boss. Every game is a fight to the death with 4 teams, and you absolutely feel like you earned it at the end of the game if you won. It's a great high. Single boss pulls in everyone, it's a gravity pull for PvP. Double boss splits the map into two mini games, and most of the time the team just leaves with bounty without fighting anyone. Guys roaming around the map doing nothing. It's boring.

@@debased. Every match since the last update has only had 1 boss, plus rotjaw on non day maps. It used to randomly select between 2 compound bosses, 1 compound 1 roaming (rotjaw), or just 1 compound boss

Crosshair placement being talked about huh? Genuinely hope its good news, because Crytek not allowing centered aiming was always the dumbest argument ever. Not one argument against it made sense.
The only one Id have ever accepted is "Our code is too spaghetti, and it would be a mountain of work with risks to break many unrelated things, so we probably wont do it" but the issue is is that was never Crytek's argument. Theirs was basically "we designed it lowered, deal with it" which just was not the take to have.
The amount of times ive heard someone defend it, and make up some BS about it preventing headglitching... It makes you see more of the sky, and thats about it. But in a game like hunt, you still need to see more of the ground for traps, etc... so its just totally redundant.
The only good reason for it is to stand out from other FPS-games... but the game already does that in plenty of other ways!

It’s because this community resists any change that might benefit the game. I think there are people who are just terrified that a centered crosshair would allow others to more easily adapt to Hunt/hit more shots.
The fact of the matter is there are people that don’t want to mess with their muscle memory. There are many people (I personally know several) who treat a non-centered crosshair as a complete dealbreaker. I was even one of those people back when I first started.
It was a shortsighted decision to try to force people into a lowered crosshair without a choice as if people wouldn’t just decide not to play. I’d love for everyone to have the option so everyone could choose whichever one they prefer. Like Hunter and Gunslinger.

I just want to make it clear, Rachta you are closest to the managers of Hunt and maybe you can clear it up, is there going to be a reset of KD after new engine release? I heard from few players/streamers that they plan to reset KD after new engine and for me it would be great cuz my first 600h games were terible cuz i was playing all the default setings on old pc and that kinda makes it harder now to get a decent stats and now im over 2k+ hours and since few months im sitting in one point. GL and HF :)

They need to add moving targets into the shooting range
Since 2 or 3 months my Hunt dropped me from around 180-200 fps on medium and high settings to now 120-140 on shit settings and what ever i do nothing helps. Even if i turn everything to low i also tried it with Resolution and render scaling on the lowest but nothing helps. Someone have the same Problem or know how to fix?
any plans to change the way bosses work? I have introduced several friends to the game and bosses just ruin all the fun for them, even 50-100hr in, and I eventually just have to teach them how to cheese strat them
I finally completed my personal mission of gathering 100 uppercuts ingame, i have exactly 100 uppercuts spread across x amount of hunters i ´ found ´ in the bayou, i dont bother with prestige, i just a goal of hoarding 100 uppercuts from ingame hunters,, and so i bloody will.
dark places in the game realymake hard to see people maybe nice to have make the dark places automatically brighter the more you get close some time it gets brighter but not enough I believe.. too much brightness adjustmant on monitor make bright scenes to bright and makes hard to see around specially If u are burning

We need to put pressure on them as much as possible to keep single boss. Redditors are the only ones fighting for double boss in trios because they want to farm money for free and not having to earn it/fight for it.
I've never had as much fun as I've had in Hunt the past few weeks with single boss. Every game is a fight to the death with 4 teams, and you absolutely feel like you earned it at the end of the game if you won. It's a great high. Single boss pulls in everyone, it's a gravity pull for PvP. Double boss splits the map into two mini games, and most of the time the team just leaves with bounty without fighting anyone. Guys roaming around the map doing nothing. It's boring.

There is some weird new bug, recieving free hunter slot from blood offering doesn't add a new slot. Happened to me 4 times already

@@RachtaZ Unfortunately don't have it on video. But it happened to both me and my friend around 5-6 times. My friend has 7 slots as of now and has already gotten free hunter slots 3 times from offering but they didn't unlock. Next time it happens we will clip and send it

you know what is the most problematic things for me ? im playing this game since 2021, 2k hours. and i cant play against players who decided to play on the servers with a red ping or yellow ping.when you see that a "𐙚𐙚𐙚𐙚𐙚picked up a bounty" you will know that this will be the freaking fun game! this is SO fun to die after 1 second of trade. can you imagine the game in 2024 like that???? YOU KILL THE PLAYER AND AFTER 1 SECOND WHEN HE FLYING TO THE GROUND HE MAKES A SHOT!!!!! and after that people compares about solo necro, but this is the ONLY WAY TO PLAY against such players, because you have a right to make a "mistake" but how can you call this a mistake if this is your fault to not fixing that one of the biggest issues???
you guys are so hyped about the new engine which not bringing anything actually to the game except more graphic features and development instruments. hunt dont really needs a new map. fix the biggest issues i've described above and thats it! you can move on to the graphic updates, new maps, new bosses, new automatic weapons in 19 centuary!

What are they doing to fix the many many exploits that've been around since day one and still exist? Why is Anti-Alaising implementation so absolute shit, is the engine update going to fix it? The game is either jagged, or blurry even at 4k. Ask them about their design philosophy and why is it centered around nerfing items being used a lot and not around actual balance? Why the fuck did they think it was a good idea to add FMJ to Dolch? Why the fuck did they basically remove flash from the game as its the only tool that punishes corner holders in high MMR? So so many questions that need to be asked.

I gotta have to say though aside from Psychoghost I see rarely someone ever critiquing the state of Hunt. Aside from peak times and since the Solo changes ppl have been abusing the shit out of deranking…. and Solos derank automatically now, even if the try not to. With the widening of the MMR gap and in their words: „We changed it to favour a full sever over a fair match“ basically every second match it’s a Solo player with a 1.75 KD slaughtering the entire lobby. It is just not fun as a 3/4 Star to get dumpsters every 2nd match by an actual 5 Star player…. Have they said anything about MMR changes or giving us the option to exclude them from our matches ? They are right now just way to broken and oppressive. With team revives even with low range necro, your teammates has to put himself into danger. A solo just can wait for 20 min and saves his high level Hunter and tools. And there is no telling sign, while you can here if a teammate necrosis his buddy….
Any comment on that ? Or are you just gonna ban/remove this comment like Rexnor did.

@@debased. Every match since the last update has only had 1 boss, plus rotjaw on non day maps. It used to randomly select between 2 compound bosses, 1 compound 1 roaming (rotjaw), or just 1 compound boss
