I like steampunk, those Victorians’ thoughts about the future having big machines for simple things seems so funny to me. And those contraptions look great.
The linked storage holds alot more than 2. That's were the charge batteries can be placed to make a portable one. It's nice to set one up at base and one in a small storage base area near metal nodes in the blue zone. Whatever you place in one can be accessed in up to 3 others. You could use it to fast travel basically as well if you don't have a teleport pad. Just place all your gear in it, die, spawn in a bed at a second location, then get your gear back out at the other end.
@@BemoGuinness HI Bemo, the linked storage takes 5 min to power up and then for me it shows 50 slots. Place one near your forge and other you carry with you with a couple of batteries, and you can transfer a lot of metal ore back to your base. The range is map wide. Only balancing part is its 5 min powerup timer. Also, the new Library is awesome, needs a bit of setup to link crafting stations (CS added link capability in last update) please your common blueprints (structures while you are building for instance). In crafting device (linked crafting station, fab or replicator) in folder view it creates a folder called "Library Storage) You can craft directly
There is also new robot companion Sir-5rM8 that can be pretty useful to gather resources, or doing some work around the base (it can automate your base to certain parts), and repairing damaged structures. However learning it's full capabilities is a real pain, since it's too much complex in my opinion, and mods make him kinda redundant to use.
The library can link to any crafting station so you don’t have to remove the BP’s every time you want to craft something. In the inventory of the crafting station down on the bottom right there should be an option to link it I believe or it might be in the radial menu
Hmm I wonder if the cs guy is planning on messing with the tall tales stuff. It’s just been base game stuff. I feel like he’s not going to want to mess with the dlc stuff since it’s paid. Never know though.
The embryo storage is for live birth incubation like the ravager gets pregnant you remove the embryo place it in the storage to gestate and hatch it out like an egg
Yeah. Element to run a forge is expensive. For PVE. But I think it’s wild cards way of trying to stop Alfa tribes on PVP from abusing this. I get it. Not gonna stop them though.
@@BemoGuinness Dude it’s so awesome . Things like this. Really get me pumped about Ark 2 you know? Like I can’t wait. Love your videos too bud. So chill.
Bemo when you can, can you post the console commands for sparkles to remove them or make a video on em when you get a chance ? Love the series so far btw
lol omg the tinkering Desk had you questioning yourself for a second lol the half run across base and back was priceless
Awesome video man thanks !!
Yea the 2 different inventories is super weird

I really like the new animations on all the equipment
yet again you have me looking at my 2 by 2 base in disgust. this is my favourite base youve made great work
😄🙈
Love the linked storage. With that and the robot metal is so easy now. And yes, that forge is crazy oversized
Still got to get a robot made and test it out
I really love the base very great layout man!
😁
Looking sweet cant wait to see the rest of the new stuff
I like all the new animations with it

Ahh will take a look. Was wondering why it had so little slots
Yeah it has around 50 slots, in Xbox if you click X or y, it open the inventory and the other battery slots, is like having a tp with out tek

I don't know man, seems almost like you'd have to build your base around that forge, unless your crafting area was outside.
Kinda cool looking though.
Yea it is way too oversized. Looks fantastic though
That was what I thought 😂 First place the forge then build your workshop around it 😅

Yep I talk a little about it later in the video
About the link storage it has no limits on the map witch is very useful for farming
Ohh very nice

Ahh I forgot about that. Will try to remember to check it out
@@BemoGuinness there is just so much new stuff I’m still learning 😅
Ahh...dude.. I'm not to crazy about the stream punk wall skins. It looks like 60s wall paper!! Lol
Yea they look terrible. Super disappointed in them

Yea he was on the fence last I heard and checking if he can somehow lock it to people that own the DLC to avoid legal issues
The embryo storage is for live birth incubation like the ravager gets pregnant you remove the embryo place it in the storage to gestate and hatch it out like an egg
Ohhhh interesting 👀
How do you get the little vaults, I’m liking the base looks good
It's part of Cyber Structures mod
@@BemoGuinness ok thanks
Most of steam punk are just usefull in official, in non or single player is better to use mods, they just look nice
I copied your base design but turned it into an tek base, used the one wing for storage instead of breeding.
Ps. Whats the CS mod name?
Cyber Structures
@@BemoGuinnessthank you so much. ❤

Yea it's a pain. Sucks cause the forge looks nice (a little big though)

That's modded as hell... I hate it when these videos always show stuff we can't all access.
It's literally using 3 mods plus the Bob's Tall Tales DLC that everyone has access to even console 🤷♂️
Bemo when you can, can you post the console commands for sparkles to remove them or make a video on em when you get a chance ? Love the series so far btw
Yes I should have a video up tomorrow about it as there is a few things and options that I need to explain
