- I had to put sway bars on to get the car drivable (my own fault...) but this performance part is a MUST HAVE in my book. Performance Sway Bars!

awesome vid man using it for my new ipd swaybars
on a positive note, your confidence is on point. :D
Good job, I did the cheap upgrade for now until I get these for my 87 245. My OEM rear is a 15mm, I grabbed a OEM 19mm rear from a 92 sedan for $7 from the junk yard.
They really do make a big difference, well worth getting
I like your sway bar video... I have yet to put ipd sway bars on my '88 240.. at least I will now know what to expect when I do the changeover... I have a couple questions..
• What brand radio and model is in your car?
• Have you done any improvements to your air intake since the first video?
To be honest, Im not sure what the brand or model of the radio was...it wasnt very good (in my opinion) and was having issues and malfunctions. I upgraded it to a Pioneer DEH-2200UB headunit, just like the one I have in 87 245. Way better, but it is an older model that is no longer produced.
I have, in the playlist for this car, you can find the video I made where I installed a long ram cold air intake (and removed the center muffler).
Thanks for watching and I hope you dig the IPD bars as much as I do. FYI: at some point I will be doing another video on suspension modifications for the 240 you'd probably like too...so stay tuned for that
Very good video, love the content man. I'll hopefully be upgrading my sway bars soon. I did replace all my bushings and went poly in a few key areas. Jesus the trailing arm bushings were a pita.
Thanks! Sway bars are a great upgrade (I have another one coming in a few weeks). OH god, the rear bushings were such a pain; I keep hoping that I won't have to do that on this car for a long time...but we shall see. Front bushings have to happen soon though...
If you do a left hand turn, the weight shifts to the (mostly) front and (some) rear right, not left. #badscience
do you really feel different at the corners now ...?
Definitely. You can feel a lot less body roll, almost like the car is better "stuck" to the ground
