I am the same type of guy who kinda still enjoys the games but I am not interested in lore and fnaf fandom is keeping me away enough from the gameseries
Well, if I spent about 7 hours being jumpscared every several seconds by a random animatronic at random times when also trying to be the second guy to beat a game mode virtually impossible to completely, I'd definitely want a break from horror games. Surprised he's still been able to tolerate similar games for 8 years.
To everyone talking about Markiplier sounding tired of FNAF: 1. He just sounded like that the entire stream 2. Mark would never play something he doesn't want to, considering he has refused or stopped playing games before 3. Mark said in a stream that he actually enjoyed his time with FNAF:SB and looks back at it fondly, and is excited to see where the series goes next, regardless of direction.
There was a distractible podcast a year ago where he goes into detail about FNAF. He basically said that the series is a massive part of his channel, and he didn't rule out that in a way if it wasn't for him the series as a whole wouldn't be as popular. However, he doesn't actually care for FNAF as much as everyone thinks he does. It's fun for him, but otherwise he isn't a huge FNAF fanboy

He’s better off not knowing anyway since it was completely canceled along with the majority of the Fanverse Initiative. A lot of the Fanverse Fan Creators are just unpredictable & aren’t good to work with in a business sense since they most of time prioritise their own pride than the integrity of their Products Commercial Viability. TL;DR Individual Fanverse Creators Opinionated Nature is very self destructive to their own Fan Projects & by extension the entire FNAF Brand as a whole since Scott Cawthon’s Official Endorsement of FNAF Community Fan Content..
A lot of the fan verse devs have actually come out and complained about Scott's poor communication and lack of work ethic because he would literally almost never respond to any of them. Bigger problem is that dev's like Phil have said before that they never saw a single cent to support the development of FNAF Plus.
Mark seems like he would be in close talks with Scott (or as much as one could be without spoiling anything) like some company executive. I know he's not but that last bit feels like a "wtf are the higher ups doing" moment

Naw he makes bank off FNAF vids, when he plays them he cuts them up specifically whereas with other vids he's shifted to longform content. Also I think in the vid this clip is from when he realized the dlc is coming out in July he was like "YES, CONTENT" in a funny greedy-type voice which indicates he gets the goods from them. I wouldn't recommend trying it though since I think i heard about some drama with the fnaf 3 remake the same creator made that had some sort of trojan (a virus that pretends to be a game folder or smth like that) so it's likely just best to wait till it officially releases.

A lot of the fan verse devs have actually come out and complained about Scott's poor communication and lack of work ethic because he would literally almost never respond to any of them. Bigger problem is that dev's like Phil have said before that they never saw a single cent to support the development of FNAF Plus.

While it’s definitely true that people get tired of stuff eventually, neither do I think Mark really dislikes FNAF at this point. He did express his enjoyment for Security breach not so long ago and while I would understand not feeling the same hype as many years ago, I still thinks he will play FNAF plus because he simply finds FNAF games to be fun

I wouldn't recommend trying it though since I think i heard about some drama with the fnaf 3 remake the same creator made that had some sort of trojan (a virus that pretends to be a game folder or smth like that) so it's likely just best to wait till it officially releases.
