I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB of RAM myself, and while it's fantastic for tinkering and projects, I totally agree that a Low Power PC offers more versatility for everyday tasks. The limitations of the SBC become apparent when you need a broader range of software or more processing power. Low Power PCs seem like a much more cost-effective option in that regard. Definitely SBCs rule for IoT projects and gateways, but for general use, a PC is the way to go.
SBC are born for product development, debugging and R&D purpose ... Suppose if you want to develop a router ..you create codes and hardware using SBC test it once success then make final schematic and do production ....

investing is alwasy a gamble zoom out and all u will see is that you bet on 100 thigns only few worked and made it big so investement is not a great teller of fortune . remeber hyperloop or solar roadway or theranos
Mera 15k rupees ka Core 2 duo cpu Is better than these raspberry pi and sbc. Even its very efficient too, the issue is just portability 😅 Although I cant make a Cluster with these core 2 duos 🤣 That's where these tiny guys take place
