I appreciate how seriously you're taking your role as Main Mom. I doubt many people could claim you were cast out of Favouritism when you're being so dedicated to the role~
You have improved so much Eva. Your flexibility and stage presence are much improved. Rehearsing for Main Mom has really helped. It's a lot of fun watching you grow as a dancer.
I applaud you for taking this role seriously and putting the effort into taking private lessons to perfect your role. If you’ve never been on stage before (in a show) I’m telling you now you’ll love it. ❤
Hey Eva, I don't watch your content a lot, but I really wanted to compliment you on how your carry has changed. The movement in your upper body since you incorporated the Pilates strength into your movements has really become so elegant and thoughtful. Congratulations on all your hard work. This ballet fan can really see the difference in your movement quality!
I can’t even explain how happy your content makes me. This year I got back into Ballet after not dancing for about 5 years and I am going to be in my first Nutcracker as well. Your content makes me feel not so alone in my journey. Thank you!!
It is so insane how much you have improved since you started your dance journey! You are doing so amazing, can’t wait to see how much you continue to improve!
Interesting seeing how you are focusing on reversing the damage your photography work has done. I do administration normally but got made redundant during covid and was offered a cleaning job. Although it was meant only to be temporary, I am reluctant to return to just sitting all day. It plays havoc with my back and hips. You are so young and strong and are doing a marvellous job at getting in shape. Great job.
As a female who spent my entire adult life alone in a state without any family, & have personally been thru some very traumatic experiences with no one around to help me or save me- it makes me SO nervous anytime i see a girl walking around in public, alone, with noise cancelling headphones, or both headphones in in general. Please stay vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times, esp travelling/walking alone. You never know how even just being able to hear footsteps behind you can ultimately save your life. Sending love and safety to everyone reading this comment ❤️🩹
Extremely GOOD advice for all the oblivious women, teens and girls who think bad things will NEVER happen to them - like an attack! Just remember, MEN are much, much stronger than you are, especially the mentally insane, narcissist or down right crazy ones.
I'm so sorry to read that you have experienced trauma, and facing it alone, too. How awful for you. How are you doing now? I wholeheartedly agree with your advice. Any ladies reading this, yes, keep your ears free of headphones when walking alone. Be aware of who is around you. And please, carry a personal alarm. They're inexpensive and so light to wear around your neck. Even better, carry pepper spray if its legal where you live (or a travel size hairspray with cap off in your pocket). And don't be afraid to be vocal, if you perceive any threat shout loudly, draw attention to yourself." What are you doing? Get away from me!"- practice saying it out loud at home. It's better to be embarrassed if the guy is harmless than to wait too long for fear of "making a fuss". Thanks for leaving this comment, and I do wish you well in all things.
I love your sense of humor and how creative you are in incorporating it into your videography and editing. Your ballet, also, is quite lovely and impressive!
Your dedication and drive to learn ballet as an adult is awesome. I admire your dedication and perseverance. Great skills that will take you far in life. Well done👏
Wow 🤩. How incredible you are improving your technique at ballet class 👏 .your lines is getting better, arms, your neck, balance, etc. Bravo. 👏👏👏 your participation at Nutcracker Ballet is going to be an amazing experience 😍 I hope you are so proud of yourself .. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 BRAVO
U are doing so well Eva. I can see how much more u are comfortable as a ballet dancer. You're becoming so poised and graceful. Your flexibility has come so obviously far too. Great job girlie. It's really fun seeing u on your journey 🩷🖤
You’re really such a great example of someone who’s motivated and self disciplined! I love watching you do your thing, it really is inspirational. Thank you for always being open with us, and your dancing is coming along beautifully!!
Like so many others commenting here, Eva, I am astonished by just how much your dancing/ballet has improved. You move with such fluidity and grace. Im envious of how high and how controlled your extensions are! And I don't mean to cause any offense by making a comment about your personal appearance, but if I may just say, you are looking so toned. Furthermore, you are glowing. I really admire your commitment and your continued hard work. I wish you luck as you continue your journey.
I'm a guy who has loved ballet since the sixties, when it was so special growing up when it was on TV (small town Texas here). I particularly enjoy your photography as I was a part time photog in the seventies in college for a decade (Rolleiflexes and Leicas). I like the fact that you don't just focus on the women, but also recognize the contribution of men also. Wishing you the best from the Houston/Galveston area!
As someone who also started ballet at the same time as Eva, it’s been really interesting to watch her improve because her environment is so unique. She is constantly surrounded by OUTSTANDING dancers like Mya and Melanie who went to prix de Lausanne, who she directly learns from, on top of that she has the time and can afford to go to lots of private lessons, and her job is flexible which allows her to do things like take daily ballet classes and part of her job is literally making ballet content so I’m sure she’s absorbing a lot of technique tips even while on the job. I wonder how much of an effect this had on an adult beginner, because I have not come nearly as far as Eva and I’ve been losing a lot of confidence but then I realized I don’t have anywhere near the same resources as her. People always say that you can’t start ballet when you’re older and make it as a professional, but I wonder if Eva’s ability to commit so much time to it, which most adults do not, is the perfect recipe
@@Sophiesdays You are so right! I do not dance but I started playing piano around my 20th bday and I am decent at it now a couple of years later but nowhere near all those youtube videos that show beginner to pro progress within 3-5 years. I do not have the resources to take private classes so most of the stuff I learn alone and with online courses, sometimes I get tips from a friend of mine who's a musician. Other than that, a while after I started I commited to a very intensive university degree, completed it and I am still in university full time while trying to start a career in scientific research. This has all impacted how many hours a week I can practice - I also just don't have the headspace to do high intensity training, focus etc. on the couple of hours of free time I get every few weeks. 😓 It's been a sinusoidal ride where sometimes I am proud of myself and just enjoy playing music, and sometimes I feel like I've wasted money and time investing into learning this skill because I am still an intermediate at best. Over the last year though I have accepted that I am just doing this as a hobby - and a hobby can easily be a lifetime commitment. So I might be WAY worse than other adult and even self-learnt pianists, but I still enjoy dabbling in piano and classical music whenever I feel like and have the time to. I hope that in the future when my career is more stable I can afford private lessons - even if that is in my 40s. I can only imagine that with dance that actually REQUIRES classes, and all the fuss around booking classes, commuting to the classes etc. - it is easy to be demotivated. But if it is something you enjoy I hope you can keep on doing it for the rest of your lifetime and always get that precious joy and pride of your own achievements! The achievements of other's never dimnish the effort you put in, remember! 💗💗
I have to hand it to you. Learning a new skill (and not an easy one) is super impressive. And you are killing it! Love your videos and the clips with "the kids." Keep them coming. ❤❤
I cant dance anymofe since an accident. Love to follow your videos, it brings me back to happy times. Still remember the exitement with rehearsals and looking forward to be in costumes and on stage…loved to perform.
I'm immensely impressed by your dedication, persistence and sheer hard work in preparation for your role in Nutcracker. I loved this video. One thing I noticed, and I hope don't mind me mentioning it: you appear to 'lose' your turnout at certain points at the barre in tendus, ronds de jambe, etc. I noticed it in the Tuesday solo barre. I think if you could work at that, a lot of other things you currently find difficult would fall into place. What one should do, for example in a tendu, is not think "point the toes", but "lead with the heel". Heel, heel, heel until the last moment when you stretch the foot and point the toes. Same thing on closing: the heel leads until the foot is flat on the floor and slides to close in first, fifth ... If you think "heel first" you will actually feel and better maintain rotation (turn out) at the hip by engaging the glutes, and also relieve tension on the knee ligaments. Same in ronds de jambe en dehors and en dedans, à terre or en l'air - think about leading with the heel to maintain turnout and engage the glutes. The supporting leg has to be working also! Very good luck for your performance - you will be brilliant 🫶🌟✨
I really love how you're showcasing your journey as an adult learning ballet! It's one of those sports that people always say you have to get into at a young age and that it's impossible to do as an adult but here you are, improving steadily and enjoying the process!
Eva, I absolutely love your content and "it's exhausting because it's requiring a lot of muscles that are underdeveloped" is so real! Thank you so much! You're truly inspiring!
I use to dance when I was little to my teen years and obviously stopped when you become an adult, I’m 29 and I wanna take ballet lessons again so bad. Your videos inspire me, sadly I would if they weren’t so damn expensive 😢
Eva! You have improved soo much!!!! This is one of the first videos I have seen of you within the past two years, where you were just amazing!!!!! Keep up the good work, I am sooooo proud of you!
So well done Eva, here you are thee ballerina ! I enjoy the videos you make and I am really impressed by all your hard work to achieve this level. Have a wonderful time. 😊thank you.
I love the fact that she's taking so much effort to perfect her role as main mom and her ballet technique in general. Can't wait to see more Nutcracker vlogs. I am a huge fan of you and Master Ballet Academy, Eva. All the Best for your shows!🩰🍷🩷(true MBA fans know why I put the 🍷emoji😂)
Dear Eva, you are amazing! I can see the changes in you daily. You carry yourself more gracefully and you move with more confidence. You are truly an inspiration. Even though watching your routine makes me tired, I am in awe of you. And so very impressed. Keep up the good work!
aghhh eva, so excited for you! from another adult starter (3 ish years as well 🙂), your hard work is motivational - also your barre work is looking so beautiful! keep that momentum going girl!
Brava! You're improving so quickly. Your hard work is paying off. I'm so enjoying watching your progression. Plus you are just a delightful person! Keep up the good work!
Wow! Just wow! You are so self-aware and humble and committed. You are so honed. So stretched and your ballet posture is beautiful In short, I love your videos! Keep on shining. I can't wait to see you perform. Merde!

LaDuca is pretty much the premium of dance heels so just a bit of living through you that you get to go to their shop where legends of Broadway and the Rockettes get their heels
You should collab with The Pointe Shop, bonus content and exposure for both of you and you get your shoes fitted nicely with Josephine T_T just seeing you two together, dream collab haha
When I was first watching you, you were an advanced beginner, now you’re an advanced intermediate, I’m so proud of you!!
She's so inspiring in what she does, in such a short period of time she made it look professional
Wait im also an advanced intermediate
So inspiring
I appreciate how seriously you're taking your role as Main Mom. I doubt many people could claim you were cast out of Favouritism when you're being so dedicated to the role~
And I doubt they would cast her if they believed she wouldn’t take it seriously
You have improved so much Eva. Your flexibility and stage presence are much improved. Rehearsing for Main Mom has really helped. It's a lot of fun watching you grow as a dancer.
Also her confidence. I feel that she is much more confident in her body.
just the way she carries herself in general has changed so much!
I applaud you for taking this role seriously and putting the effort into taking private lessons to perfect your role. If you’ve never been on stage before (in a show) I’m telling you now you’ll love it. ❤
as someone who couldn't experience much as a teen, your videos are giving me so much hope for my future. thank you for documenting your journey

Kate is such an amazing teacher!! Even the smallest adjustments can make the biggest difference!
Eva! You should collab with Josephine from the pointe shop to get fitted for new shoes!

EVAAAAAAA PLEASEEEE

Josephine is already a fan!
Your progression is insane!! I haven’t given up figure skating because of you as your passion is contagious!! ❤
I love how you showcase its not all about doing everything from childhood, you can follow your passions into adulthood too!
