Ingredients:
8 Whole chicken wings
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp White Pepper
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1.5 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tbs Soy Sauce
1 tbs Shaoxing wine
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 egg
1 tbs cornstarch (you can add a little bite more for more crunch/crispy)
2 tbs all purpose flour
FOR AIR FRYER VERSION, ADD SOME CORN STARCH BEFORE PUT THE WINGS INTO THE AIR FRYER.

Sprayed chicken with olive oil after cooking for 10 minutes. I used sake as wine substitute. Added powdered chicken bouillon to batter. After setting marinade for 2 hours with the chicken I added more corn starch to thicken batter for air frying. I cooked at 370f for 18 min. then turned wings and sprayed more olive oil. Cooked additional 8 mins. Delicious, not greasy, crispy, juicy, want more...no more takeout wings for me. Thank you.

Personally, I like the wing tip removed and the drumlette and the wing separated. Makes for a more traditional wing. These are great little treats by themselves or with a dipping sauce

You could always try spraying them with cooking oil, the stuff you use to lubricate cake pans. Would give just a slight oil tinge to the coating and maybe help it to colour and crisp.

Yimmy yeah I'm making those normally when I do regular I put were it said chicken on wish it said 20 mon for 360. Never did it this way so am happy you show this video put it for 400 tota1 14 min can wait to eat i made your recipe a long time ago so I'm happy I

This is so confusing. Is it 8 minutes, 10 minutes or 4 minutes. Do you turn it after so many minutes or just leave them. Kinda poor job of doing this recipe

You can actually spray the oil on while cooking to give it that extra flavor, but airfryer is healthier and better for you
Add oil to your batter and it will come out nicer

@@chsulie yeah I experiment a lot with air fried chicken.. also use melted coconut oil and add it to the batter then cool it off and let the coconut oil firm up on the chicken, then toss in flour and it kinda creates more of a fried chicken style crisp.

Note to self : i used 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp garlic powder...turned out ok to me, not as good as deep fried but not bad and my wife likes it(dont know why) so i am keeping this recipe

love this video... so just to be clear. We air fry the wings for 10 mins then let it rest for 10 mins and then re-fry for 4 mins?
So 10 min for the first round, then rest for 10 minutes. Second you will do 4 min on each side of the wings! If you do it longer for each side then it would be crispier. Thanks for watching!😊
