sorry to break your hearts but unfortunately this one was lip sync, not all are but even for Josh it’s near impossible for anyone to belt those night after night for a long time, you can tell there’s a difference in the microphone from pre belt, belt, post belt. Some people like Brendon would shorten the belt or make some quip or joke to avoid the vocal strain. I’ve seen performances when Josh attempts them for sure but they don’t have the mic so loud like usual, typically with the song there to lip sync or guide him
When he belts out on this song... unless you've been there love, videos don't give it justice. Its so intense and vibrates thru ur whole body. Really insane

mandy i actually dropped the pick when mike threw it but the person next to me was super nice & told me it had landed by my purse! i was super grateful to them for telling me & not taking it for themselves because i had that happen to me at another trench concert 4 years ago & it made me so sad
I think his voice just needs to be loud, so in the beginning when he is trying to be tiny and soft there's strain on it. Also, tours are hard on your voice.
