With cars of this age and Jaguars in particular the biggest problem is usually rust. Finding one with as solid a body as possible is always the best place to start.
This bloke will be a expert fixing these things by the time eze finished
Nice colour and interior. Its obviously been looked after. Keen to see how it progresses. The Jaguar V12 engine is quiet, reliable and bulletproof.
You are definitely incredible with these V12. I wish I had you over here in America
You know everything ......Mr. Bond ! 😄 Yes , the wing will repair Adam . Thanks Adam
Maybe not everything but I’m pretty familiar with these cars
Nice TVR.
I'm just about to start setting up my throttle linkages based on one of your previous videos 👌
Great colour, and the interior looks like it is in very good condition. Thanks Adam !
Yes it's a pretty nice example
That poor door!
She'll be a lovely car once you finish.
Should be a great car once done
Great video Adam, it’s great having these episodes as reference material when going through similar issues with my XJS. Thanks for taking the time to post this 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
We all learn and suffer together haha
Lovely looking car with those BBS rims and Dorchester grey metallic paint..
Yes it's a really good combination
Nice wheels! BBS RS020 in 17 inch? Also great color combo in Gunmetal grey. Always interesting to follow your sleuthing 😄
Those are 16’s for sure
@@nickr7747 Right, I meant to write 16. Thanks
Show us the TVR Griffith! Great Episode.
It’s coming up in a future video
From the sound the brake accumulator sphere is due for replacement. There is a Mercedes equivalent sphere that is easier to find than the original Jag one, with the same threads. I can find the part number if needed.
It’s been sitting for months. That’s completely normal for it to do that

Very interesting video thanks Adam.
Glad you enjoyed it
It looks like Tommy Boy went and got gas in the Jag 😂 if you saw the movie you would know what I'm talking about LOL
I love your videos but they do make me happy to own classic Mercedes !
I’m really beginning to like the XJS especially the V12
They’re great cars
Another great and informative video. I enjoy watching your video's you explain things very well and make it easy to understand. Is that a Wolseley 18/85/ or a six. Im guessing 18/85. i saw in the garage?👍
I'm glad you enjoy them! Yes it's Wolseley 18/85S
The tudor batterie is a portuguese brand👍
Hello mate, I'm from Scotland. I have bought a project xjs V12 HE. Is there a full set of comprehensive wiring diagrams for these cars? Would love to correspond with you throughout the rebuild process incase I get stuck with anything
BBS RS, worth a fortune
Looks like you accidentally revealed your new V8 purchase😉
It’s not in the video. It’s currently a 6 hour drive away. Will pick it up this weekend
@@LivingWithAClassic so that tvr isn't yours, that's a shame.
