Is hella becoming a swimbait believer 🤔 haha. They def have their place but. In my eyes it cant hurt to use them whenever. Especially if ur tryna cover water and just tryna find larger fish or bring bigger fish to u. This year tho for me that hasn't been the case and haven't even seen any followers which is strange . I either get a random bite on them or nothing. Which has been completely different than the past couple years id say.

I had a spro chad shad in the exact color. I was fishing with it for about 2 hours and caught a pound a halfer. Once it got in the boat it went crazy but I didn't re tie. A few casts later it went bye bye .😢

Which Dobyns rod for the Burikin Swimmer. Or for a treble swimbait that is 6 in 1 ounce to 1.25 ounce like a cull shad or magdraft? Thanks!
I believe Rich uses the DX744c for his soft treble swimbaits.
in this video and past, threw the Burikin on a Dobyns DX744c, could probably throw on any rod you throw a TX rig on, for 6" mag drafts been using Dobyns XP 764c

Laid the hammer down! I notice you been liking that Burikin Swimmer. Do you add the nail weight just to get it to swim deeper, or does the weight in the belly make it swim more true?
Without that weight it basically a soft wake bait, rides super high and slow even with nail weight

It was tied to 20lb Big Game, haven't experimented enough to say what is best yet

@@enriquetorres1014 I think high quality heavy mono is the safest bet, braid can dig in and snap, 20-25lb strong mono or copoly
