Wagonmaster Al Gilmore gives us a little history of this wagon train that starts in Pipestone, MN and travels west to end in Madison, SD coinciding with Prairie Village’s annual Steam Threshing Jamboree.
Details the organizing committee has to coordinate:
    Potty Wagon
    Plan route
    Stopping Places
Mailings for Wagon Train and Winter Gathering
Meal for purchase one night on train
Sleeping quarters for the teamsters and riders can be tents, stock trailers, covered wagons, farm wagons, and even full blown RVs.
Joe rides with the teams and interviews them - the consensus is that they all do this because of the people they have met and will meet.
Greg and Jaci Eden and their Friesian/Percheron cross team. They expound on the characteristics of the cross that they love.
Lefoy Gorter and his Percheron/Belgian cross team
Orlin Torke and his 6 year old registered Percheron half sisters Donna and Polly
    Vel Orth
Bob Ossefoort and his 17 year old registered Belgian mares. He plows, discs and cuts hay with them at home.
Lastly we get some close up looks at the wagons as they camp for the night.
