To be fair you've never had to contribute anything to NATO in order to enjoy it's benefits, and there's a decent chance BRICS is going to shit the bed, particularly if they get hit with a 100% tariff on American goods. The average GDP of a Canadian where I live is lower than the state of Mississippi, which is the poorest in America.
