Dude I found your channel like 3 weeks ago and since then I been watching a video every day sometimes 2-3 (both the moire classic risk one and these ones), i also would love to catch you live on twitch but we are in very different time zones. I really like the commentary too, in fact that is my favorite part, learning a lot from it.
Oh... I had one of those yesterday. 4 connecting regions and a block place for the capital yet the player after me found it a good idea to place his capital on a 1 army country he got. It was a match that was won before it even finished the first turn.
Very fun game I like how you embrace the craziness of alcatraz. Wanting for white to cap there. Wanting to get off cap and using the bot as protection over attacking for kills. Awesome game keep up the great work.
In my opinion, white was cucked in this game because he had no connected territries and nowhere to go, so he isn't idiotic because that was the only actual thing he could do. Because he's definitely not getting middle.
@@digitallicto capital next to yellow? Where he'd probably die the same way, or to cap next to green? Either way, in 5 or so turns he'd be unable to do anything if they take his capital quickly, his only hope would be death stacking his capital and waiting for someone to make a mistake but at that point, he'd only have one or two lands and he'd be growing way less than the others.
@@brangwynthedarkestdeity1210 his 6 or the 2 in the bottom left are both better caps. He chose the cap that gets him immediately locked behind a player with twice his reinforcements.
@@digitallicso, cap next to yellow and have the same thing you did happen, or cap next to purple where they have a 5 and a 4 with a green that has a 5. It may work but it would be nerve-wracking since purple will definitely try to attack it soon, and Capping next to yellow, the same thing you did could've happened since yellow goes before white. So imma continue saying that white didn't have any actual good options.
@@brangwynthedarkestdeity1210 you are overthinking this. If white caps on a 6 beside yellow, yellow would be insane to roll that and no real reason to roll it. And if they did white would probably end up with two caps on turn one. White didn’t have good options I agree but they chose the absolute worst option
13:08 what's with those insta stacks? You basically move all the troops through and then fortify them back. Just splitting troops after taking the first cap would have allowed you to also fortify a stack to the top cap and hold all 3.

Kylted explained this not too long ago. Just press esc. But I am not sure if there is an option like that for mobile

Bro I was so excited and tired at the same time playing that game that I made a few minor errors but still it ended well. I love Alcatraz lol
