Nice little series you made there at Saint Anthony’s. I wonder what everyone is going to do because you can’t take RVs to Dumont with the road being washed out by little Dunes. I guess a lot of people are talking about going to the big dunes in Armagosa or making the trek over to Glamis
Thank you. I'm not sure I understand your question about the road (auto correct fail?) but yes it's washed out. It should be repaired before dune season starts though. We usually don't head out until early November for our first trip anyways.
Yeah, I fixed the auto correct, yeah I live in Pahrump we took a ride out the other day and the little dunes are destroyed. I’m sure they’ll come back and the big wash is what wash the road out by the little dunes and then on the other side it washed out over beyond the south pole. Etc. etc. I’m sure you know what I mean.
@@Tanks-Link for sure. I run Dumont Dune Riders so I've been seeing and sharing all the photos of the damage. It's nuts how much of that wash came right through everything.
How are you liking your Skydio drone? Super sad to hear that they are no longer going after the consumer market as of August of 2023. Looks like you have spent some time learning to fly that thing well. Boating and Duning are also my favorite things to do.

This year was a little warmer than usual. It was in the low 90s during the afternoon and 50s at night. Last time we went it only got into the mid/ upper 80s.

It works amazing. Sucks for manual flying at any great distance but for following there is no better drone.
That place is great! I was there two years ago around this time. Stayed at Sandhills how does that compare to Idaho dunes Rv?
IDRV is nice. Much more space and much closer dune access. I really like it there.
