I can't help but feel good watching this video. it's like I'm right there in Helen's living room having a chat with her. Seeing how content and peaceful she is makes my heart sing.
What a woman !! I was truly impressed with his attitude towards life after having had fame, fortune to live on a pension cannot be believed. And you are right, I retired 6 months ago and at 70 years old I am having my best moment after having worked for more than 55 years, Helen for me is my idol in every way, thanks for this memory to that great woman who is no longer between us but he left us all the best, QPD
I miss her a lot... She was a force... We need her now more then ever.. So sad she passed on.. I remember her as Nora in Pete's dragon... If I did not have parents.. I would have loved to have her as a mom... I cannot believe she is gone... Her voice keeps me connected to my dad... He loved Pete's Dragon too... Hope she is singing for my mom and dad... Ho man.. I need to get out of here as I will cry... To give up the awards.. the fame and pomp takes BALLS.. She stayed true to herself and thank GOODNESS FOR THAT.....
yes, she ran back to the state and started singing again. I loved her I'm 64 and watched her come of at age 16. I didn't even know about Australia and yet she loved America and took citizenship that made her famous. It's the Aussie tabloids that slammed her. She loved America and came back here to die. and be close to her children. she amazing and into hypnotherpy. the money bought her a right for a real life
In an interview on 'Talking Heads' (Australian Broadcasting Commission), Helen states the her 2nd husband, Jeff Wald, was a drug addict & that it took her 17 years straight of performing shows to pay off the drug debt Wald ran up. This interview in a series of 4 parts can be seen online.
Where is the story about the "missing millions" and all the other things mentioned at the top of this story. Someone has "cleaned" this story up, WHY. Who is trying to hide the truth here?
they didn't explain that but as you know she doesn't speak ill of anyone including the ex Jeff Wald He lost it all for her . she wasn't that liberated as you think. Jeff wald handled all the financials and he put money in an offshore account that went missing and the other money went up to Jeff Wald's nose
@@carolziesmer3377 What do you mean, "no"? According to her new biopic, her ex-husband Jeff Wald squandered their fortune and marriage on his cocaine habit. I'd call that a ripoff.
someone, people, trusting the wrong people.....you cant lose 30 million Carol Ziesmer in a puff of smoke. Dont give us that b.s. - tax problems, greedy husband. She donated & trashed a lot of awards. But her fortune left her many many years ago.
@@DexterHaven One of my friends spent loads on a secret drug habit to get "top quality" that was so top that she overdosed and died at much less than half of Helen's age when Helen died (of I'm sure a non-drug cause, likely dementia as my last aunt recently died of but I'm not going to label it for certain as such without official word, as indeed I don't declare as fact without proof). The premature end of one's life is one of the biggest ripoffs anyone can encounter.
So lovely interview! I miss her so much...
You are the best singer actor of all times. You are missed. We love you ❤.🎶🙏
Thank you for enriching the lives of so many of us and God bless! Joanne Wright USA

Terrific piece on Helen Reddy! She lived a lot of years "on the road" and deserves to be happy in her golden years.
Oh yes. But her music will last forever because people like us know what real music is.
She was true to herself. That is something to admire. RIP Helen Reddy.
Rest In Peace dear lady! You are a star that continues to shine in heaven ❤️
Thank you for posting this.
What a powerful quiet presence she is... Go into the Kingdom, good and faithful daughter....
Truly an amazing woman!!!
Bless her. She did it all and now she just wants a nice easy life. However, she did start performing again after this aired.

Shes icon.
I've only ever known her as Nora from Pete's Dragon. And I'm satisfied with that.
I used to watch Disney’s Pete’s Dragon a lot as a kid. I can’t believe that’s Nora! She doesn’t look or sound anything like her!

It's called "click bait"
Good questions. According to her new biopic, her ex-husband Jeff Wald squandered their fortune and marriage on his cocaine habit.

did her husband take her fortune?
Yes. Most of it went up his nose.
Lost millions? Did she get ripped off?
No

@@bobdavis4848 If the blow was top quality, then it wasn't technically a rip off. So there are facts to know yet.

Living on a high building?
she destroyed women
Really? How exactly did you come to that conclusion?
