  • God is perfect and holy and infinite. He made us to be like Him, but with all of our attributes in finite amounts.
Every one of us has used God's image we bear, and the power He has lent us,
to sin, and to defile the universe He has created.
Every single one of us deserves eternity in Hell for our sins.
This has been the bad news.
God loves us so much, every one of us, that He came to Earth in the form of flesh, just like us.
He lived here, about three decades, and then died.
That death was infinite, and so it was adequate in value to pay for the eternal cost in Hell a man deserves.
That death was infinite, and so it was adequate to pay for the eternity in Hell every single one of us deserves.
Once a human understands he deserves eternity in Hell, and why, the soil of his heart is broken up, and ready for the seed.
The good news is, if you repent from your sins, and turn instead to Jesus, then He will lead you to eternity in Heaven.
Jesus rose from the dead, in order to show He was serious about raising us also to eternal life.
Once you turn from your sins, and ask Jesus to forgive you, He will.
Then, you can be spared the Hell every one of us deserves.
He will return one day, a day which no man can guess, and He will destroy sin and death permanently. The only survivors will be those who have received the Gospel and believed and repented.

The Ancient Israelites had Sabbath years, in addition to their Sabbabth days.
Every seventh year, they had to let their farms go unfarmed, and other things. I think they had to release their slaves, for example, every Sabbath year.
The Sabbath years had another Sabbath of their own.
After every seventh Sabbath year was the Jubilee year.
There were certain things necesssary then too, and the one that sticks out most is houses and lands were returned to the descendents of the original owners.
That was for hiuses in the country. It was a different rule in the city.
A house sale in the country, the value would change according to how many years away was the next Jubilee.

      You're welcome!
If you want to have it explained fully, then Leviticus 25 is the exact chapter where the Lord explains the Jubilee year.
