TIP142/TIP147 Kit Vs D1047 Kit | Which one is better? |

This video is all about the comparison of two amplifier kits, One is based on D1047 transistor pairs and the other one is based on the darlington pair combinations TIP142 & TIP147 which is a very good combination for providing the powerful sound as well as the good sound quality with heart thumping bass.
D1047 based design is actually a local amplifier design and its available in the local market and you can also get the numerous variants of the same circuit design very easily as one of them is already shown in the video.
There is a lot of room for modifications and improvements in this amplifier design because this is a very old circuit design.
As far as the other kit ( TIP142/TIP147 based amplifier ) is concerned the TIP142 & TIP147 are at the power stage where is TIP41 is at middle stage and BC557 transistors are the pre amplifier stage.
