Love how you visited my city Bizerte. It's truly beautiful and serene yet tourists usually don't seem to find their way towards it and stick to more touristy and traditional locations. I hope you had a great time in Tunisia ! Good luck for the rest of your adventures around the world.
The unfortunate thing is that baths existed before the Turks. Since the era of Carthage and then the Aghlabids in the Islamic period, baths have existed and the Turks took them from us, and I do not understand why today they say a Turkish bath. The problem with those who claim to be a tourist guide is that most of the time they only speak other languages, but they know nothing about history and attribute Tunisian things to other countries out of ignorance and lack of awareness. This is a Tunisian bath. By the way, we call the hand “khomsa,” and the fish and the eye are all Carthaginian symbols of protection from the evil eye. In Tunisia, we say “jibba” and we do not say “jellaba,” and the word “baboush” is actually the first time I hear it, and I do not know what it means. In the Tunisian language, “baboush” means only snail
Ciao Silvia! In realtà l'italiano è una lingua molto diffusa in Tunisia. Ci sono molti turisti italiani, e soprattutto tantissimi tunisini vivono in Italia. La connessione Italia - Tunisia è fortissima!
