Mariska Hargitay Mistaken for REAL Cop by Lost Child While Filming Law & Order: SVU | E! News
/ enews - Развлечения
She has the aura of someone safe and trustworthy, just like her character. Children can sense a safe adult.
She had her badge on. That's y the little girl walked over 2 her. I'm still glad Mariska Hargitay did the right thing, helping someone in need. Work may b important, but nothing is more important than the safety & well-being of others.
It warms my heart to see her help a child in need, which is why she was perfect for the role. She has helped countless women and girls who watched the shows and encouraged them to seek help.
Not always. If it were true children would never go with child predators to help them find their "lost puppy".
the older she gets, the more she looks like caitlyn jenner.
I had a child run to me when bullies were chasing him. I walked with him until he felt safe. Domestic animals know too if you are safe (maybe other animals but I'm a city woman). I'm not going to pretend I'm some saintly person. Far from it. Having been bullied myself, I will not let a child or animal be abused.
That's how you know she's a good actress. She plays the part so well, she's mistaken for the real thing.
What I love about Mariska is that she has the compassion that it takes to help others, and has dedicated her off time helping children and women of domestic violence.
I'm not at all surprised that a child would go to her for help, You can see it in the character she plays a caring and kind person.
I literally grew up watching law and order svu and since I’ve been watching the show for so long it feels weird to think that they are actors instead of actually police . I actually just watched a episode of svu and I’m waiting for it to come back on ( it comes back on at 2 in the morning ) and to think they actually live normal lives instead of being real police shows how much of a impact svu has had on me and everyone else . The show definitely feels real and I have never not felt real emotions from watching law and order svu .
I'm a 33 year old guy who's watched SVU off and on 20 years now and if I felt lost I would run up to her and ask her for help too lol. She probably would get scared and run away though.
😂
Nah, she'd help just the same. Perhaps with some tall dudes in the background. But there's something about scared human, no matter their age, that triggers this mama/papa bear must help drive in a lot of ppl. There's more good in the world than it seems sometimes, but it's there.
😂😂
Of course I love “Olivia Benson”… but Mariska is the ultimate Wonder Woman! She is an inspiration, a genuinely beautiful human being and so down to earth.
I'm 32. I'd still struggle to not call her "Liv" or "Olivia" because my childhood self would be comfort ugly crying.
She’s the Sailor Moon or Madoka Magica to all girls and boys
To whom are victims
@@CBMOA sailor moon!
She would have been a better fit to the movie vs the teenager
This heals the inner child in me that always wanted to meet her ❤️Salute
The child is likely to have seen Ms Hargitay on TV as a police officer, even if just on the adverts for the show. Seeing her in real life and putting the person together with the character, the kid knew she'd be the right person to ask for help in a park full of strangers.
That was sweet of her. Never too famous to help a lost child. Blessing to Mariska and her family.
She has her Mom’s beautiful smile. Jayne would be so proud of her.
And that’s why we love her . Her heart❤ is so big she didn’t have to stop everything but realized the importance of the situation got a little girl safely back to her mom just like her character liv does every episode
haven't watched the show since season 8 or 9. almost 20 years ago wow. i didn't know this show was still on. loved stabler, munch, and olivia.
They say never meet your heroes but sometimes the stranger you just met becomes your hero.
Oh my goodness loved this show as a kid, she definitely gives comforting, warm vibes. Absolutely love this actress
and that is because she is such a wonderful human being!!!....KUDOS Mariska!!!!....🥰🥰🥰
This reminds me of a story Alan Alda told where he was about to have surgery and the doctor was explaining the procedure. Alda knew exactly what he was talking about and even asked him some very technical questions. The doctor asked him how he knew so much about the procedure and Alda replied, "I've performed this operation about a dozen times."
😂❤❤
Mariska Hargitay is such a phenomenal actress and she’s such a wonderful person and human being!!! She’s got a great warming heart!!! 💜 ♥️ ❤️ 😊😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊🎉🎉🎉
That had to really touch her heart.
We love that she is still coming too. Love her and if she leaves the show I dont want to watch it anymore.
She’s one of my favorite actresses !!! ❤ ❤😊😊❤
I think that is fantastic. She's not like one of those other actresses that would do nothing. She cares about people. She doesn't put herself above others.
Most people won't let a 6 year old lost child fend for herself.
......loved this show.......fast pace and no boring moments....
She is truly a class Act. ❤
Shes literally going to be playing her for at least 20 more years. That's amazing.
Just the kind of news story I needed today.❤
Mariska has that aura… she seems very kind
Warms my heart!
From Europe, what a lovely lady!! 💙💙🙏🙏🤗🤗
I love this show I've seen nearly every episode Mariska comes across as a very likeable person who you would want in your corner at a difficult time.😘
Awesome news, love her character on Law & Order. Fantastic that Mariska is so dedicated to both her craft & humanity. Best wishes from Adelaide; South Australia🦘🐨🇦🇺💐
We love you. You are such a warm and caring person. Your Mom and Dad would be proud. God Bless You❤
How sweet. Nice to hear a good story coming out of Hollyweird.
Excuse me! New York City!
@@craiganderson7986 They are all the same.
I would just come to work every because I can stare at her beauty 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow she is such a real hero
I always believed in the good in the actors & actresses from the industry. Mariska Hargitay not only used her parental skills, but also her Olivia Benson skills 4 this little girl.
named my kitten Mariska
We stan this woman so much, she is just mother.
That is so sweet!
What an awesome lady ❤
I see it as a little angel sent to Mariska to reassure her that she's doing things the right way. Love how fulfilled she feels with her job, that's a blessing.
Love her ❤
I love Law and Order…..I watch the reruns I love it so much, no matter how many times they come on. True Law and Order Fan
I Love SVU the actors are so Good ! Mariska Hargitay and the whole cast God Bless. Hope to see many more years to come.😄
Thanks, my Mum still watches SVU. I also used to watch the series. Good to see Mariska embodying her character in real life.
Mariana is the splitting image of her mother Jane Mansfield.
You can definitely see the resemblance! You are absolutely right ✅️.
Oh my gosh she is an icon. I salute her. She’ll always be our Captain Benson.
I can imagine if the directors put this heartwarming scene into their TV series, then it would be wholesome overall.
Go to show how real she is.. ❤❤❤❤❤
Such a beautiful person, both inside and out. That little girl could spot a good soul who could help her, and she did.
It must taken such bravery by the girl to approach a adult who seemed truly trustworthy in her mind to ask for help and she couldn't have chosen someone more fitting than One of the most genuine and kindest celebrities ever in Mariska...Thank you for creating such memorable moment for that young girl when she was scared and needed comfort to find her mother, she will cherish the moment rest of her life and remember the day she meet you ❤ Mariska Hargitay
What a beautiful story
My hero 😍😍😎😎 love her
The aura she carries is crazy!!!!! So happy she found the little girls mom.
She has always been an outstanding human and it is very obvious
The greatest serie on this earth, greatest ppl with one of my favorite rappers Ice-T (who thought he would play a cop 😂) love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
then you have his "rival" playing an NCIS agent (LL Cool J).
Well technically she is 😏
She is a legend ❤
Aww I love this 🙏🏾💚
Mariska is ❤❤❤

Je vous remercie pour tout je vous suis depuis le début merci à toutes l'équipe ❤❤❤❤❤❤

So beautiful inside and out!
She is just all around beautiful. Adore her!
Love mama Mariska 🙌🏽
I've been a fan since 1996. The Lenny & Mike days.
Reminds me about the time a robbery suspect ran onto the set of Homicide: Life On The Streets and surrendered to the actors thinking they were real cops. They referenced the incident in the episode The Documentary.
I salute to you ma'am, a true soldier and hero
I love her….and the show!
Queria muito conhece-la❤ mega fã
🥰👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾for both child and actress 🥰
I love the the OG and svu series and she’s a solid casting choice
wow that kid pays attention to the show, good for the kid she found someone to trust
Imagine losing your child and suddenly a celebrity appears with your child by the hand, helping you both.
That is awesome
Class act.
What I don't understand is how the child not see the camera crew pointed at Mariska and the other actors? Shouldn't there be security to keep the pedestrians and filming crew separate? I guess when your a young scared inexperienced child you don't noticed things like that.
I hope to see Mriska and Zandaya in the explosive script films project...
Great Cop .. no surprise the lost child imnediately sought Cop ",Olivia Benson!"❤❤❤❤❤
We love you, Mariska Hargitay
Wish prime NZ would release the last 4 season of SVU that say unavailable!!!
Also the same with Chicago Fire ,Chicago PD .
Dang Olivia Benson. This is awesome though.
Love you Mariska
Have always loved this woman, and her character!
I grew up watching SVU, being born in 1992. If I was EVER in the city and lost, if I saw Mariska, fictional or not, my childhood instinct would have told me to run to her and trust her.
I went to pick up my daughter from school. I had on a long black coat. A student stepped out of line and asked, "Are you a secret agent?" my daughter yelled out, "No, that's my dad!"
She's always felt like a genuinely good human. Sweet baby girl picked the right lady. ❤
Mariska is a good cop for real! 🥰
Mariska is so sweet 😊
Im going to have to watch this show.
She is a fine human being. She speaks it and she lives it.
I once was mistaken as an actor walking near a movie set in San Francisco. I was walking around with my friends and the security guard thought we were some of the stars. Guess he doesn’t watch movies much.😂😂
Isn't it just great how you know someone fits the part of the script, because they ARE the part?
She is so effing gorgeous! I love her!
I haven't watched a Law & Order episode since the early 2000. I had no idea it was still going. I just assumed they were all reruns by now.
