Hello, Sorry for the late respond! To be honest I have a lot more experience when it comes to seatrout fishing in the southern part of Norway. That being said: May is the month to start fishing after seatrout in Tromsø for sure. My best fishing is in june/july. Any place near a river (make sure not to fish to close to inlet), good current, rich and diverse subtrate and near the marebakken (unsure word in english), describsion would be the area that marks shallow water from deeper water near the shoreline! Seatrout look for pray in this area. You dont need to throw far, seatrout patrols near the shore. Although a kajak could get you to spots otherwise difficult to get to. Good luck and tight lines!
