Andrew, I spent 8 years as a commercial electrician and the difference I see with you and most of the operators I have worked with is you will put in the extra hours on the machines to make sure the job is done properly as well as looks nice.Never deviate from that as this sets you apart from the rest and people see this. You will always have work if you do good work. I look forward to the completion of this house especially the septic projectKeep the videos coming as I think I speak for all of us when I say I enjoy them.Dave

The naysayers claimed the pipe at the exit of the driveway would collapse. Well - looks like it had no trouble with that truck loaded with stone.. :-)
Perhaps suggest to the homeowner to cut down a few of those trees along the ditch at the driveway where the roots have been damaged. They will probably come down during a storm and at an inconvenient time. No large cost to handle a few more trees when there is a pile already cut down needing handling.
Wish you where close by here - would definately hire you for a garage excavating job and some stacked boulder walls!
    Good stuff!

Andrew, if your going to keep doing driveways in the future, you should look into a vibra-pack, sheepsfoot or roller. You can pick up smaller ones that would be perfect for driveways/small parking areas, fairly reasonably price used.

that tracked bobcat is really something. I thought you were dreaming pulling that dump truck up the hill. no sweat. hey, down at the house you had a tremendous pile of logs. big. now if you had a woodmizer lt10, you could have put that pile up at the castle, and milled them when work was slow, and made more money off the lumber than you did the driveway. a lot of lumber.

That look great. If you had a small ride on vibratory roller you could really pack that stuff in. One that has a drum on the front and articulates in the middle. But it looks like its pretty tight from just tracking it in with the skid steer. Not leaving very deep tire marks at all from the truck. You do really nice, neat, good looking work. You keep on like that and people going to think you're a professional. 👍

Thats very nice nature stone your putting there for the driveway :-) When im building a driveway ill go for crushed stones 0-90mm in size and a layer of 3-400 mm when its pretty muddy under the textile. Then to top with 0-8mm to drive on. The thing is, the crushed stone and wixed in with 0mm will hold the peaces on place better.
Very nice to watch your videos and all the effort your doing everything with! People will hate this maby...but this is better then Letsdig18 i think :-) Greatings from Sweden :-)
