Such a great idea of recycling the bottle to drip acclimate 🙌👍 Gonna start my own shrimp tank soon! Thanks for the idea and great video! the tank looks beautiful!
One little tip for future shrimp additions is to not add the water the shrimp came in to your tank as it may contaminate your tank with something you cannot necessarily see. Always take the shrimp out with a net and add them to the tank and then throw the water out. 😊👍
Great idea doing drip method like that. IMO it might make more sense to drip then immerse for temperature change, though. During 20 minutes of drip the temperature will work back to room temp instead of water temp.
Wonderful video. The video quality was so nice that I for the first time saw a shrimp poop. I have seen many videos and I have never seen how a shrimp poops.
Hope it goes well. Good job doing a proper acclimation. Watch out for the temperature of the water and overfeeding, these are problems I had when I started, a feeding dish can help. Also the shrimp and baby shrimp will benefit from a sponge filter if you have one, if not more live plants will also help them, mosses are great.
I just bought some blue velvet shrimps and yesterday i got 30 plus fries,ur channel is awsome brother wuthout saying a single word u managed to get this much subscribers, respect🔥
you did it so well and carefully! i'm sure theyll love their tank! just, maybe think about adding a few more shrimp and you may expect babies! if you want that tho :) it just saves you a lot of money mine already saved me 100 dollars by breeding :DD
Suggestion, the alternative for fan, is just put your aquarium to the floor or near the window, AS long as it don't get a direct sunlight, it will always cooldown the temperature, sometimes can drop too much😅
I don’t want to be the guy to say it but fan cooling doesn’t work on CRS tanks it evaporates the water too fast and them guys are sensitive to water changes. Well nice video and there’s neo shrimp that are just as pretty give them a try next time 👍
I know you drip acclimated it, but for the next time, do not add the water your fish came in to your tank. Comercial tanks can carry many bacteria’s, so you should strain the water before adding them in to avoid future hassle with diseases! Besides that, I loved your tank and this shrimp are gorgeous 😍
These shrimp are caridina shrimp, so they like aqua soil but for neocaridina (cherry shrimp) there should be sand or gravel and no stem plants so only rhizome plants (plants that stick on rocks and wood).
And when he does a water change, the ph spikes due to new water added and then drops down to 6.6 again due to the soil, shocking the shrimps in the process
I rather stick to your own nimble direct set up... others has like this and that... i am planning to set up my own shrimp tank... to be exact maybe a 15 or 20 gallon red cherry shrimp... hop up hang on hob filter...full spectrum lights rgb i'll post this on your site. Hope we can exchange ideas about raising and breeding these lil ones...

Just set up my new Shrimp tank going to cycle it first... done all the necessary things needed. Now the cycling process will commence tomorrow at Eleven In the Morning. Then after a week Water Change around fifty percent and using R.O water to stable the Water Condition. 😊
That bottle thing, was smart af😎👍
I tried to do that with my shrimp because i dont have a tube and my it worked! Its the first time i saw that bottle method!

The cut bottle with a pinhole in the cap for drip acclimation is Genius!! Thank you for that idea!
My jaw dropped at the cut bottle process. That’s absolutely genius.
I have no idea why but the music coupled with little shrimpies has made me audibly giggle a little more than I ought to have. So cute haha

That dripping method is witty gonna do the same😆❤ thanks
The way you are acclimating your shrimp is a really clever idea. I hate having to wrestle the air line tubing during an acclimation.
The bottle method is wildly smart
You are truly the best aquascaper👌and so gentle

judging from the size of the tank, it won't be that costly to use purified water to make water changes or do top offs
He has a lot of patience...❤️

Any update on the shrimp tank? Also, how were you able to reach tds 103 by using dechlorinated tap water?
Hi, increase the TDS level by adding "Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+". You can buy it from aquarium shop.
@@ThinFrog. Thank you. Did you use RO or tap water?
I use tap water. (PH level is the most important).
@@ThinFrog. I see. Thank you for your response 🙏🏻
I love this shrimp tank
Is it ok to not have a lid on the tank? I’d worry about them jumping out. Also how many shrimp should I put in a 10 gallon tank
add 20 they will breed
About 30-40 shrimp in a 10 gallon is fine. You can buy like.. 6-10 and theyll reproduce on their own.
Thats if its shrimp only.
what type of filter should i use
@@anthonymichael5653 sponge
I m sad because my beetle died😭😭
beetle is my lovely animal😭🤧
should add sponge filter to prevent fungus on the shrimp
