Jeon Mi Sun, who is acting as Kim Mi Sun(Takgu's mother) passed away 2019.06.29. She started her career 33 years ago and she was really great actress. Rest In Peace
When I was a kid, i used to hate the wife a lot for giving birth to her son with the driver but now that I watched again after 10 years, I realized how cruel the family was especially the mother in law and her husband.
She's the worse...she didnt care anything about having a son or daughter or whatever...she only cared about herself. The only reason she wanted a son was so that she could have all the riches of her husband's family. Thats why she didnt care whose son she'd born.
Why does the wife get blamed for not delivering a son? I'm pretty sure it's the male sperm which decides whether the child will be a girl or a boy. Since an ovum is always an X and the sperm is either a X or Y
This is one of the most well done series I have found on RUclips. the story was wonderful, acting was amazing. I love a good story, and this is a winner.
Loved the movie. High quality acting by all the characters. I love Miss Shin (character - sorry I don't know her name) has beautiful eyes and very expressive. Thank you for these series. I watched it there times already. Congratulations all; directirs; actors; all. I heard that the lady who played the mother of Tim Takgu passed away. She was lovely too. Lovely eyes. May she rest in peace.
The wife being pressures for a son..the mother agrees son should sleep with the maid, this drama is wrong on so many levels, if i was the wife damn i'd be mad too
Right so I dont really blame her much and hated the dad at first but then again the dad didn't like her anyways it was a forced marriage so I would blame the grandma for everything that happened
Later on, it turned out that the grandson was another man's son, and the time the grandmother found that out, it was also the time she nearly got killed by the fall while struggling with that boy's mother.
Thanks for uploading this drama! No wonder the viewership is over 50% at the end! Not only the main characters (Kim Takgu, Majun and their girls) are doing good, but also the supporting characters too! Although the story is a bit old-fashioned, it is true that, we must let go the hate in heart in order to move on.... Happy ending for both couples, very nice story...
The sad thing is that there are people who still think this way that it is a woman's body that is responsible for gender when she can only give x that would make a girl when a guy could give x or y which would decide if it's a boy or a girl.

The evil intentions and greed came back in the characteristic of her illegitimate son. The good intentions of the maid who also had a child out of wedlock returned to hers. “”Why does it seem as if everyone wants to throw stones at the maid but not at the married man who took advantage of his authority over the maid”. This proves that even women can be conditioned to see evil in just their own gender...Ridiculous! Snap out of this thinking. 🙇🏻♀️🔍🤦🏻♀️☝🏽🙃🤔

One of the biggest drama rivalries in 2010 in Korea was between Bread, Love and Dreams vs My girlfriend is Gumiho.
