About a month ago I picked up a pair of tarnished candle stick holders for $1 each. Cleaned them up and saw on the bottom in teeny tiny lettering, Sterling Silver 925. Found a gold color roadrunner pin at a favorite junk store, found the 14K mark on the back. Looked it up and people online are selling the exact same one anywhere from $200-400. Has a ruby eye. And lastly, found a coiled clear paperweight of a snake got it for next to nothing. At home I saw the Tiffany stamp etched on the bottom someone selling one exactly like it online for $95. I've been really lucky these last few weeks.
The Nativity Set is outstanding love it! Had to chuckle that I’m not the only one that thinks the gray vase looks like a belly button 😆 Thanks again for another delightful outing 👍🏻
Cant believe my eyes. There are BATIK at Goodwills!! 11:00 Those vibrant & colorful fabric that u browse over is called batik, one of Malaysian textile art 🥰
Beautiful items. My favorite part is showing us how you style the pieces you find. You have a terrific talent in design. By the way, your eye makeup is fantastic and adds a beautiful touch to your natural beauty. I feel you are as the saying goes; you as beautiful inside as your are outside. 🥰👍🎉🐕🇺🇸
Any home cat would absolutely love the covered "wagon" table. I know mine would be chillin inside that and lovin the parlor company. I also liked for the kitchen, the rod spray fruit bowl, giving plenty of air to all the fruit. Thanks Laura
The Mexican Nativity set is lovely! My best find this week was a Dansk silver plate 12 taper candle holder-found at my town dump swap shop-for free! I would have never recognized this if I had not been watching your vlogs-I have learned a lot from you and other resellers and have expanded my repertoire of treasures I put into my space at an antique shop here in New Hampshire. Very much enjoy your travel vlogs!
Find you'd like Laura this week😊 A MCM 2 tiered wooden handled silverplate condiment set. Nestled in the top tier are the 4 original glass jars and spoons for the sauces and the bottom tier metal molded with 3 serving 'bowls' for the toppings condiments!!!
I found that same nativity set last Fall! (Actually my 4 year old did!)...it was only like $6 and I LOVE the white and gold simplicity! Now I want to find sets from all over the world!😍
The nativity set i on my bucket list of thrift finds. But the bangle brought back memories of buying my 1st jewelry from a proper jewelry store, Gorden’s! I have to go dig out my set now and admire it.
I finally was able to go to a new women's resource center thrift and was amazed! For my junk journals, I found TWO Betty Crocker cookbook binders from the early 60s, a similar binder of wild flowers, a dozen vintage product specific cookbooks from 1932 to 1977 (for ONE DIME each!), an inch high stack of vintage wrapping paper, 1960s greeting cards, three 70s ledgers and an address book, plus a bag for my laptop, a looks brand spankin' new Michael Kors spring handbag (FIVE BUCKS!) two Hawaiian print blouses, a super sturdy umbrella, a 24x18ish canvas that I will paint over, an almost 2 inch think mad libs book for my sister, and 5 other decorative holiday items for my job for a grand total of.... drumroll, please... $27.45!! I was thrilled and couldn't wait get home to start gathering pages and ephemera for a JJ using one of the BC binders!
I loved that chalk colored bellybutton shaped vase. I love how you style things out. They all look amazing once styled up. This week I found a vintage ceramic faceted black vase and I think I’m going to keep it.
I was not impressed with the round gray/black vase at the beginning of the vlog, but did really like how it looked cleaned up and with the leaf branch in it. Good choice!
@4:56 So funny - we have very similar vintage trays and we also use ours for camping! Super heavy stainless steel, durable as all heck. I also found mine in a thrift store, but mine are from a prison. I suppose trays like that were made for all sorts of food service places - hospitals, prisons, military installations, etc.
I love Prarie style. Lived in a home outside of Chicago, that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright student, built in 1904. I love Craftsman and I love your channel. I have that fruit basket from Amazon about 6-7 yrs ago. Thank you for taking me along your trips. In Ohio now for ever. Be blest☦️👩🏻🦳🌻
Hi , I'm Lynn and I'm from England, just now I'm having to use my Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, Woo you always find some lovely piece's , I really wish our thrift stores had stuff like that , ours seem so boring compared to yours ☹️, it's such a shame shipping is so expensive 😏☹️, Look forward to the next episode 😊👍, Take Care Love xx
Beautiful pieces. I love the nativity. I have one and just think the crowns are so special on the holy family. Not a thrift find but my street find of the decade is a vintage peacock chair with a butterfly back....to die for.
Laura, you found some great items. Love the nativity set, the black vase and the candlestick holders from Retails. You are such a great designer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent finds! My favorite thrifted find of yours is the nativity set. I just started back thrifting this week after a big break and I found a pair of wide leg Jones New York cropped pant. The tags were still attached and originally they were $69.00. I payed $6.50!

Obsessed with your marble collection!!! 💜💜💜
Love all your fines, but I also have an eye for Mexican pottery. It brings me happiness..
You have the cleanest thrift stores!!
I own that Lenox vase. Was a wedding gift in 1978.
I love the metal fruit bowl...I would turn it upside down and put a plant on it. Something that needs height to trail
Any home cat would absolutely love the covered "wagon" table. I know mine would be chillin inside that and lovin the parlor company. I also liked for the kitchen, the rod spray
fruit bowl, giving plenty of air to all the fruit. Thanks Laura
It could have become a cat caravan Gypsy wagon; with doll house curtains both front and back. What 🤩
Thought the same thing!
I was thinking the same thing about the table. I just love the way you show off your pieces. I think the Nativity is my favorite on this show.
The vase is a naval on a pouched tummy! Lol
We had a old sectioned aluminum tray growing up from when my dad was in WWII. My mom would warm up leftovers in it!
AWESOME haul
My favorite is the Nativity set.
The round black vase looks like a beautiful tummy. Fascinating design. You styled it beautifully.
Small vase will go perfectly with your Mikasa plates
