I played SAMP growing up as a kid since all my family would buy were pre builts but obviously this was convenient. It was easy for 12 year old me to access. I’m much older now and finally building a high end gaming pc
Not really, I've been playing on a potato laptop and on a roleplay server with an average of 200+ players. It really lags when you are surrounded by peoples. But at some point it is playable you just need atleast a bit decent specs (like: 4GB ram+)
I stopped playing SAMP when our Internet cut off i still remember my first time playing SAMP when someone tried to help me do stuffs inside the game where the two of us just help each other to gain money and experience. That was like 6 years ago.. Nostalgia hits me hard.
Actually, those type of players do exist in samp, there were plenty of players who were constantly donating and cheating at the same time, some even play to this day.
The server owner actually hates this, a lot of players payments get blocked cause they try to charge back and get ingame items for free which is kinda scummy, i understand this and it can be frustrating
In my honest experience, both are equally bad in terms of the people who play it. The “mature” folk are usually admins or mods, the rest are just literal cancer. Can’t remember the last time playing RP or anything was actually fun. Shit is full of assholes who attack you for no reason, which is a temporary “jailing” (in some servers) offense. Of course, if the admins don’t notice it, nothing happens! (You should already know GTA Online’s bullshit, so I’m not going to explain it). All in all, the comparison you provided is not accurate.
@@luxsolis2 You're wrong there my friend, I'm sorry but almost all RP based samp servers are typicaly kids who dont know how to RP, but there is servers that people actually don't do stupid shit, where you can enjoy the RP. Some servers have almost 100% of people who are over 20, not just admins and mods, serious people who wanna have fun.

Of course there are servers that take RP seriously, but for people who just want to jump in without having to care so much about what server they’re in, it isn’t good. Bad almost always covers the majority of the good. That’s the way it is I guess.

I was waiting then comes a guy in a car, he was pretty formal saying "hi sir howay i help" i told him i am new here and would like help with how to get started ,he instantly killed me and while i was waiting for EMS which btw most of the times don't come, he was doing /piss over my half dead body lol, thats the state of the game, few months later i decided to try again, this time on the spawn area of hospital a guy kept constantly punching and killing me, i was reporting on the newbie chat with no help at all, they were telling me to report to HELP (which is practically useless like) so after dying 4 times i decided to fight back we were going on and off then a cop came and arrested me , i was put in prison , and the other guy not who in that time was running from me cause he was low on health

CZ servers are actually better in free-roam genre as of my opinion, SAMP has easy to connect feature and doesn't take much time to load up on low end PC as well. Yes SAMP is better than ONLINE and FIVEM
gta samp also feels more home-like because of the graphics, gameplay and other stuff which i honestly think is important. it feels like that good old game on your school's pc lmao
I have many fond memories of my time on SAMP, maybe one day I'll return to it, I'm sure its improved even more than when I used to play. I remember one of my favourite moments was on a roleplay server my character and a few others got really pissed at some cops, they were similar to Tenpenny being corrupt and generally making hell for the characters, gangs, they honestly ruled the server when they were about. (Again key word being characters, the people playing them were chill xD) During one of their 'active' times, me and friends actually managed to use our connections to form essentially a full on riot force, managing to build up and even acquire a temporary truce between the gangs even just so we could all overthrow that section of the LSPD, literally storming the building with everything we got. The plan being to kill the lot of them so it would make a 'clean' slate. It was a massacre on both sides in more ways than one. Sadly we never got to finish the mini event/story as an Admin didnt seem to catch the memo it was just an event and started kicking/banning those of us inside the police station killing away thinking we were just deathmatching/grieving. Everyone was unbanned luckily but yeah it did spoil the fun for us.

I play SA-MP since 2008, and I never stopped or switched it for another multiplayer game, 11 years with SA-MP and doesn´t matter how many years of experience I have, I always find something suprising once in a while and have a good time playing with people from different nationalities and insulting each other on TS/Discord with our natives languages it´s one of the best things.
Once i played SAMP There was this minigame where you had to shoot others So i was doing good Then a player made me glitch which thrown me to the top I wrote "wtf" And the guy who glitched me reported me Admins banned me for hacking SAMP is better than GTA Online though

I fell in love with samp the moment I got into it. Too bad it's a little hard to downgrade to be able to play it. But once it works, it feels like the chains that I was bound to in gta online has been broken. Thank you samp community for giving us the gta online we wanted :)
i spend my whole childhood playing sa mp gangwars server. Amazing memories, the game feels alive and full of news back then. the server had around 200 players in it for the whole day back in the days, and all from my country.
Same but for me in mta. I last checked the server i used to play on. And its almost empty. In like 2008 It had Like 100 - 200 players. Now i saw 9 players online...
Things u did in samp 1. Fly hydra and blast other player cars 2. Modify cars and go next to female players 3. Experienced lag 4 troll friends and blast everything 5. Raid the area 69 with other players Og gta player out there
I really hope GTA VI takes inspiration from things like this. For example, choices that the player makes, such as joining a gang like the Ballas, should unlock new options and new story missions related to the gang etc..
Well i want gta 6 to be normal shit, i wish the black main character like frank in the story is a gang member and i want them to create 3 characs back.
Gta online things you missed: you can sell cars, you can sell your apartment by buying another one and replacing it with the one you bought, you can drop weapons and you can play player-made jobs
i am glad games like Just Cause 2 and 3 just bundled with multiplayer mod on pc, it is officially recommended thirty party stuff, on pc shame that take two would never be so open, in fact they took down gtaiv multiplayer during 2020 updates
I've been playing GTA San Andreas since it came out, never stopped playing it either i was playing on PS2 or my my Mobile Device, Then saw Samp Multiplayer come out and till this day i play The Normal GTA SA and GTA SAMP.
Pushing cars, car surfing, cbug, deagle DM, Roleplay, older physics making for more fun "WTF" - Moments, nostalgia just to name a few things that make it better
It's a real shame that more TDM servers don't exist on SAMP. I believe that SAMP is simply the best in that area, even compared to GTA V Online. People still prefer roleplay servers, but the TDM servers are one of the best online gaming experiences I had, EVER. I hardly doubt that anything could overthrow this. And I'm not overexaggerating. You have to experience this level of competition, skill and absolute mayhem that you would get back in the day on these servers. You had things like Clan Wars, zone capturing, teams fighting over a zone, air/hydra fights, 1v1 duels on foot with players that would decimate you in seconds, and many more incredible things. All that with a community of amazing players. Today, very few of these servers exist, and the playerbase is nothing compared to the period from 2009 to 2015. Also one of the major TDM servers of these past years has been shut down due to lack of players and other stuff. Which is a shame, since it was a really great community. You did require a good amount of skill to be successful in these servers, but of course, everybody had to start as a newbie. It's incredible how over the years your skills build up, and you become a better and more skilled player. And real SAMP legends know about the following: lagshot, skinshot, c-bug, litefoot .. etc. I'm telling you, people need to stop worshipping games with better graphics like GTA V, which in my opinion does not even come close to SAMP, and start to value the games like SAMP, which might not have the best graphics but in my opinion has much better gameplay.
I would agree with the whole yes there would not be an infinite number of gta roleplay servers on which everything from the garbage collector to the president can record any activity, just as it is possible at any time to hand over or transfer money, you can buy flats, houses, cars and sell them to other players on an ingame ebay but no matter i could list thousands of examples but hey still good video✌🏽
The thing "making money on WTLS servers are much faster" is so true. As a new player who just plays SAMP for 5 weeks, this is true. I like buys a house and a car in just 1 week of grinding. (sadly, the house is get sold lol) and i just got a car workshop and after 5 days, i sell 3 cars for 150,000 dollars.
Samp is just casual online with different servers. Where as GTA v focuses on a whole story with missions. If you play too much of one, you start to get bored of it very quickly. But I prefer SAMP.

I'm actually more used to SAMP but MTA source code provides such amazing features that wouldn't even be possible on SAMP and imo mta community is less toxic since there's no way to cheat on it, but it depends on what you like after all. I play both lol

I play SA-MP since 2008, and I never stopped or switched it for another multiplayer game, 11 years with SA-MP and doesn´t matter how many years of experience I have, I always find something suprising once in a while and have a good time playing with people from different nationalities and insulting each other on TS/Discord with our natives languages it´s one of the best things.

Admins banned me for hacking
SAMP is better than GTA Online though
There ar emillions of servers lol you have to find the right server wich is managed well by admins and they are pros and know who hacks who dont

I fell in love with samp the moment I got into it. Too bad it's a little hard to downgrade to be able to play it. But once it works, it feels like the chains that I was bound to in gta online has been broken.

i spend my whole childhood playing sa mp gangwars server. Amazing memories, the game feels alive and full of news back then. the server had around 200 players in it for the whole day back in the days, and all from my country.
Same but for me in mta. I last checked the server i used to play on. And its almost empty. In like 2008 It had Like 100 - 200 players. Now i saw 9 players online...
No Shark Cards, Microtransactions, Better Servers, You actually have fun, etc.

I really hope GTA VI takes inspiration from things like this. For example, choices that the player makes, such as joining a gang like the Ballas, should unlock new options and new story missions related to the gang etc..

Gta online things you missed: you can sell cars, you can sell your apartment by buying another one and replacing it with the one you bought, you can drop weapons and you can play player-made jobs

I've been playing GTA San Andreas since it came out, never stopped playing it either i was playing on PS2 or my my Mobile Device, Then saw Samp Multiplayer come out and till this day i play The Normal GTA SA and GTA SAMP.

It's a real shame that more TDM servers don't exist on SAMP. I believe that SAMP is simply the best in that area, even compared to GTA V Online. People still prefer roleplay servers, but the TDM servers are one of the best online gaming experiences I had, EVER. I hardly doubt that anything could overthrow this. And I'm not overexaggerating. You have to experience this level of competition, skill and absolute mayhem that you would get back in the day on these servers. You had things like Clan Wars, zone capturing, teams fighting over a zone, air/hydra fights, 1v1 duels on foot with players that would decimate you in seconds, and many more incredible things. All that with a community of amazing players. Today, very few of these servers exist, and the playerbase is nothing compared to the period from 2009 to 2015. Also one of the major TDM servers of these past years has been shut down due to lack of players and other stuff. Which is a shame, since it was a really great community. You did require a good amount of skill to be successful in these servers, but of course, everybody had to start as a newbie. It's incredible how over the years your skills build up, and you become a better and more skilled player. And real SAMP legends know about the following: lagshot, skinshot, c-bug, litefoot .. etc. I'm telling you, people need to stop worshipping games with better graphics like GTA V, which in my opinion does not even come close to SAMP, and start to value the games like SAMP, which might not have the best graphics but in my opinion has much better gameplay.

The thing "making money on WTLS servers are much faster" is so true. As a new player who just plays SAMP for 5 weeks, this is true. I like buys a house and a car in just 1 week of grinding. (sadly, the house is get sold lol) and i just got a car workshop and after 5 days, i sell 3 cars for 150,000 dollars.
Samp is just casual online with different servers. Where as GTA v focuses on a whole story with missions.
If you play too much of one, you start to get bored of it very quickly. But I prefer SAMP.
