I tried coming back to this game a couple times after 2.0 but it seems so utterly hopeless to even try fighting. I just have a r3 WK, a r2 Undying, a r7 Lurtz and a r6 Shadow as my best comms, and they get shredded like it's nothing. The whole system of even pullling a good commander is just predatory at this point. Why should i have to contend with people who have zenith commanders? There should be some sort of matchmaking where you play with people closer to your ability, not with krakens who are immortal.
What makes me angry is that in reality, as I said in the video, they did some good things, but those 2 or 3 mistakes are too big and ruin the whole update.
People would love seeing their teammates with a meta-counter! And for people to know if they go with the meta build they can be countered by Azog!! Your suggestions are right on point bro! I recently suggested they create a council with our favorite content creators and I 100% had you in mind. You’re always fair and objective of our position and their own.

I think the point was to give something that we've all been asking for for months and months, to make us believe that they finally listened to us, but then instead give something that is practically useless... it seems done on purpose, no one forced them to put something... but they chose to put them... done like that they are a joke. Based on the PBE test results, giving universal gifts doesn't seem very meaningful. Even after this change, Beorn and Dáin's positions are still solid.

Devs, each of your actions destroyed the game! When are you going to stop for a minute and listen to the community? It was a really good game... My last question is, what is your real objective? Nobody understands you... 1- give vouchers of universal respect. 2- refund the unique and respective items. 3- put an end to 1.0 equipment 4- finish off the formations of four commanders. This is one of the most generous things they have ever done. You just got 80,000 gems worth of mithril, you got more skill points to play with which will help you fight krakens, it is easier now to ascend, and you can take all those useless good or evil Commander respect items we've been getting in chests and now use them for something, ascending. The vouchers aren't bad. If they had told us in the beginning what the vouchers did, help to ascend commanders, then people would have been disappointed but not angry. I will never understand why they can never learn that communication is always a good thing.
But in fact as always with the correct communication and a healthy relationship between community and developers, everything could have gone better. As for the commanders however, trust my technical analysis, the usable commanders are 15 out of 71...and this is not balancing...my main criticism is there...
The command stat mod on skills completely changed qurwan but they forgot the relic. New commander r5 requires you to have best hitting troop as slowest??
Changed but still unusable in the meta, trust me I tried it at high level and it's still useless....at least now it's not a troll anymore, that's true.
I feel sad for a whole day too especially about the reversion voucher. The update is mainly focus on Free2play or smaller players. Now everyone gets much more skill points and more respects level in total. The good thing is now many ftp can enjoy fights and everyone gets to use a bit more balacened commanders. Probably the main thing is the total number of players is too low to open more server, so they made this update to recurit new and old players. Paid2win players are not there focus now. :(
I'm very happy with the nice things done for F2p and I really hope it attracts people, but as I said in the video, if you want people you have to have a nice and balanced game, so the real work to do is on the commanders to attract people and make them stay.
Hmm i ldk f2p didn't get anything out of this update. We almost didn't get vouchers at all(let's be honest f2p don't have a lot mythic commanders more then r5) and commanders what was 9-10r didn't went up to. Little bit more skill points earlier don't help either to fight whales because game is massive.
@@ombrartw There are some nice things for F2P and low spend players I agree. But there will always remain a massive imbalance that was much less so in the original version. And that is the 4 commander system, with 4 sets of great gear plus relics. The game will never have any balance at all while that is the case. As an example; in original version a thoughtful player could take out someone with x10 their spend with 2-3 commanders from their 5-6 good ones. Now those 5-6 well developed commanders can't even touch a higher spending player. Even if the player could gather the required 8-12 well developed commanders they could still never compete with the equipment. Unless that is addressed in some way, and there are many solutions, there never will be any balance. I don't expect to be able to beat a kraken as a small spender, but against a mid-level spender and sometimes a high level spender with the right counter, I had a chance as a low spender. I'm not going to complain about it, well past that. Just pointing out the fact balance will never be achieved under the current model.

You should have a good balance between, commander damage, troops leading commanders and healing commands or support. Healing is pretty useless in the game I find that sad. I personally think Dain is fine where he is. They need to buff other things to be closer to being good. Not the other way around. Just my own thoughts on it. Also I am afraid if they "nerf Dain" it won't be a well done balance but just end up destroying him as a good commander in the process. For me totally useless update. I agree with that small good things what is done, but it's way to late. I'm f2p/super low spender. All months respect items was crashed and switched and with this respect vouchers the finally put me on place where I'm extremely weak and can change anything. I will finish my season and that's it. Not gonna play anymore. Even if give up. Thanks for your video ❤

dude i think you are over reacting ombra … yes the way they did the vouchers sucks, but lowering the mithril req’d to get a relic is huge, the comms have more points thats huge, its super easier now to ascend lower grade tiers ,,, not perfect but i think it was good and at least they are trying
I appreciate your opinion, I think the way it was handled was terrible. Overall my main criticism was not about the Vouchers, but about how they reworked the commanders, which in my opinion was not done correctly, in fact only 15 commanders out of 72 are currently considered usable.
No couse the relic improve only toops damage of Azog, and troop damage is not playable. is not worth invest on a command for 1,5 skill, for a support commander that deal sauron thinks but worst.
@ombrartw you say 1.5 but he literally only has 1 skill that's utterly terrible. The other 2 are still ok. He just has 1 GOOD skill. 2 ok skills and 1 good can still be viable. I would like if he instead boosted comms and troops tho
Stop crying about those vouchers. Devs helped a lot of f2ps and medium spenders to boost their comms. I see only whales crying, because they thought they will boost their Dain from z10 to z11😂
The only thing they helped was boost current respect value, if we have universal vouchers it would even benefit f2p since they can pull their respect into one formation instead of having it all spread out

This is my first season. But even i can see this is a bad change. Whales are mad they can't get an extra zenith level, f2p players should be mad we can't pool bad rolls into into useful commanders and often get stuck with sub optimal armies widening the gap between whales and f2p even farther.
@Nikita___818 except its already impossible to fight against them, having commanders past z1 makes no sense anymore, since they'd just skill into something useless, it would instead allow people to experiment with new builds and not be so afraid and only build meta
@@zephyroX24 with those “vouchers cry” people are really missing out on good things. It became easier to ascend comms, as a medium spender, before I wasn’t able to ascend anyone. More skill points at lower respect lvl (that’s a big help for f2ps). At least some rework of troop comms. It’s just funny for me seeing people in discord crying that they can’t get respect out of their z11 thorins😂😂
