Apparently, Dave Weckl is the inventor of a generic 4/4 drum beat. He claims rights on the 100 bpm drum beat video (lol) which is no longer available. This is the equivalent of me posting a generic 12 bar blues rhythm on guitar and claiming copyright on it. Funk you Dave Wenckl!
