A person must always realize that your mind can play tricks on you when it comes to “cheaper” - once you are living in another country you tend to remember things differently - also you might tend to gravitate towards familiar type foods and restaurants and those are actually more money than back home. Don’t forget too that when you go out with your girl you might be also taking grandma - aunts - uncles -etc Then any “savings” are long gone

Hi I hear your show a lot. Wanted to ask how to best sell a house we have in Managua. How do we find out how much it’s going for? Somebody wanted 300. Dollars. How do we know he is giving us correct information. We live in the. US. And need to sell our home that my mom has been renting
Hey, thanks for posting. I think we'd need a lot more info about the house. What kind of house, what kind of neighborhood. Someone wants $300 for... what?
That depends on which country you are from, how much you make, and what country you are in. It's a super complex matrix. Some places are easy like Nicaragua where taxes on expats are zero. You can't work locally, which would be taxed, but foreign sourced income is always tax free, no exceptions. But your origin country might tax you. As an American, the US taxes me but at a massive discount. Canadians get a bigger break BUT far less clear or reliable to get.
Great video Scott! I'm from Argentina,, living in Canada. We're considering to relocate to Nicaragua and watching your video it occurred to me that having mates everyday, is a must 😄 Any idea if yerba mate is sold in Nicaragua?
@@Stinkyfarts455 thank you for the info!! The goard and bombilla, are not a problem. I must have 4 or 5 of each. Everytime I go to Argentina, I bring another pair 🤦♀️🤭

So true. Dating a woman in Nicaragua is basically dating her entire family.
