It is an amazing car and I have this version. Super comfortable also during long rides, stylish, low fuel consumption, high furnishing, not pricey - and off course the sun roof which opens. All for a good price. Buy one.
I have it - Reanult Talisman Initiale Paris Energy TCe 200 EDC 4 control from November 2017 - It's just perfect! Also for climate settings starting - use joystick (this is why I choose Talisman instead Koleos - Koles does not have joustick (and HUD)) - just pull it down twice and press it - anything can be controlled with button joystick. Also - no need to swipe up / down for climate menu to open - just hit it with joystick (highlighted at the lower third of the touchscreen or press it at the bottom anywhere. The same press - removes climate window ;) p.s. I can`t get Talisman online as I am driving in Serbia :( "This function is jot yet available in your country")... The moment I leave this place, go across the border - Talisman goes online...
Nykk Deetronic Just wondering how much did you pay for it? Because we have it in saudi arabia starting from 14,169€ (for the base model) & 23,199€ (for the fully optioned model) www.renault.com.sa/vehicles/new-vehicles/talisman.html Do you think it is worth it ?
@@abdullahalammar7291 can you tell me why is this car so cheap in Saudi Arabia? How on earth is it possible to pay only 14000 euros for the base model, while in Europe is around 21000 euros.
@@heavypeki Because the middle eastern production line are made in Korea in samsung factories, unlike the European production line which is probably made in France (obviously a big difference)
@@heavypeki Samsung are capable of building anything, with great precision if I may add. The "transmission issue" you guys pointed is not..a problem...it's a "feature"(well kind off..) it has to do with the brake pedal sensitivity which engages auto-hold higher than you'd expect in the pedal range... but if you don't have your foot lower than 25% of the pedal range when you break to a standstill the car won't lock and it won't jump when you start from a standstill...also the throttle pedal is a little sensitive in the upper range ... all in all they could have made the car feel a little more natural from the factory rather than having to adjust to it...

@@Der.Nichtraucher Some little things and a bigger issue. I’ll explain in a bit. But I’ve upgraded to a 2021 Talisman Grandtour TCe160 Initale Paris (so yes, I still love it and I definitely would recommend it) It’s spacious, comfortable and looks quite good. I’ve had some issues with the roof railing as the were some stains, that didn’t go away. Even though it was just cosmetic they changed it under warranty. I’ve had a recall about the oil supply line for turbocharger. So not the cars fault. Then the driver seat massage function stopped working after a few minutes of usage. There was a fault with the seat-frame. Changed on warranty as well. Then I had a message saying Check Injection. Which I did and in the end I got a new ECU (also warranty) and then I had the same fault I had with the driver seat on the passenger side. That was the point when I decided to give the car away. Before that, we had Scenics, Espaces, Kangoos, Clios, etc. So repair-wise I hadn’t spent a dime on this car. Just a service. If you get a Talisman and you give it to a Renault dealer for a service, compare the dealers around you. I’ve had prices from way over 600 to well under 300 Euros for a big (A + B) Service.
It`s been a year since its introduction but it still looks cool and fresh. Really? So a year after its production you find it surprising that a car is not outdated?
the new design of the Renault cars is so much clean and vivid i really like it they've done a great job on this part BUT the only downside in the design is the interior touch screen it looks squary and old fashion it reminds me of an Infinix or a whatever Chinese screen not to mention the interface the menu it's like they design it in a Paint app on Windows 🤔
The 1st gear thing is the electronic throttle control. Kinda sucks they did that. Also when shifting up, in a manual, it tends to rev up after releasing the gas. All Renaults have it sadly. But are overall really good cars
BrateTebra123 t.z. Streptomicin za muski rod yeah it is, when downshifting. Then an automatic rev matching would be really cool. But when shifting up it tends to rev up, wearing down the clutch because the RPMs dont match when shifting.

We've noticed that behavior with some Japanese brands as well. Somewhat annoying, to be honest.
