- Hello friends! Welcome back! In today's journey, I'm taking you all with me as I travel from San Carlos, all the way to Perez Zeledon to visit my dad!
I was unsure if I should fast on the trip since I was traveling most of the day... but I decided to continue my fast since I would be sitting most of the day.

Mashallah, Since you was travelling you didn't have to fast, But good that you did anyways.
Yeah, that's what I was told. But I wasn't sure since I wasn't traveling to another country. I felt like I'd be ok if I fasted while traveling on this day.
@@yarielavalverde405 i believe the ruling on fasting whilst travelling is you dont need to fast if your traveling more than 40 miles, but of course its optional in that you CAN fast if you want to whilst travelling. Well done on keeping the fast Alhumdulillah

WOW props to you big time for fasting while traveling! However, for next time, travelers are exempt from fasting because Allah does not wish to make it difficult for you. However, you do have to make it up though after Ramadan :) Just a little side note :) keep up the cool vlogs!
Nice video. I envy your endurance. I can say for sure if you are on a journey that long you are encouraged to break the fast rather than to continue on fasting. I wish you the best of times ahead.

When you travel a specific distance, you should not fast and if it lasts for less than 10 days. It's actually forbidden. Allah wants to make everything easy. Look it up. But if you go somewhere, and stay in that same location more than 10 days, then you must fast when you get there but not before. More details online insha'Allah. It's all a learning process insha'Allah but good job!

Also, if you are out of your city for a lo G distance you dont have to fast until you come back to home.
Well, I'll be out of my city for the rest of Ramadan, so I prefer to fast. But it's ok. I normally move around a lot. I don't live in one place.

I will do the same if I am out of town the whole Ramadan, but will skip the day while traveling and not fast, some people can do it though.
People in the old days they were traveling with camels in the desert it was very hard for them to fast ! Today we have a car with an ac its incomparable

Is it dangerous to wear a hijab ?
It's not dangerous, but I feel more comfortable not wearing it while traveling since I'm in locations I'm not too familiar with and also my dad is not familiar with the hijab so I don't want to make him uncomfortable. This is all very very new to him.

Wise and mature decision Masha'Allah, you should always properly assess the situation and you should not put yourself and your loved one in an uncomfortable situation, while Islam has come to make it easy for people. Your relationship with your creator is most important for now, work on it. Read about the mercy of Allah, His Love for His servants and about Paradise, with that your imaan will grow, making worship easier and you will enjoy it even more.
