- Watch Steve 'Starlo' Starling, one of Australia's best know fishing personalities, put the feature packed new generation F25 through its paces.
Whether you are new to boating or highly experienced, getting out on the water has never been easier, more enjoyable and affordable with the release of the new generation F25.
This outboard is not only smaller, lighter and quicker to accelerate than it's four-stroke predecessor, but the F25 also exceeds the performance and features of Yamaha's popular 25N two-stroke.
With the release of the new F25, the old two-stroke vs four-stroke argument is now redundant.

Listen..!! This F20 Yamaha as more than 362 cc like was the previous ones till 2020. it's now got 462 cc and the displacement is worth to see , because now you can maximise your propeller to the max with a big pitch. and you have the same motor as the F25 witch is also 462 cc.
Amazing stuff again as you can convert your F20 to a F25 by changing the computer Box
I wish I could buy that boat also here in the southern US😀
Australians make nice aluminum boats that would work nicely here in the US
Maybe forget the repeated 'knock it in and out of gear' thing when trolling, engaging gear is one of the wear points on an outboard.
I just got one I can’t wait to try it out yyeeeww
I wonder how you set up the trim angle, neutral or other position. I plan to do some tests with various settings of my Honda F15, measuring the max-speed achieved with different angles.
Awesome video. What length is the boat? Looks like a 16'
I see the tiller handle is that an aftermarket ? And didn’t see if it had power tilt ?
Nice ….can I get power trim on a 15” lower unit?
Where is the recoil starter ?
Really good video mate! Can I get short sharf electric start and tilt or what's the top of the line 25hp ?
You can get electric start with tilt trim and you get short shafts and long shafts
What's the wot rpm of the 25 hp . What is the size, pitch and is it 3 or 4 blade prop.
Looking to purchase the Yamaha F25 in the spring of 2023.
Thanks
How did the boat get along with the Yamaha 25 I’m
Thinking of exactly that boat and motor
30ks on the water if it’s just you .iam more a Flatbottom tinny Savage raptor 395 or a 405 pro very similar boat at the end of the video
Hello, good day, this 25hp model is for Mexico and where can I quote it?
Four stroke vs two stroke?
2 stroke all the way i reckon, I love a early morning on a 2 stroke all smokey its the best
Does this motor charge the battery?
yes if its electric start
It vibrates a lot I think. I would prefer a 3 cylinder on 25 and up.
I went from 40 to 50hp just for 4cyl
Ya it does vibrate more than the 3cyl but the 50lbs it saves makes up for it. Enjoyed mine till I upgraded.
Nice
What seat covers do you have
I've never had a problem with my my evinude
2 stroke
شكد سعرة المعروض وكو منه بالعراق وبايه محافظه
Geez, has nobody ever told you to never start an outboard without water🤔🤔🤔
A 5 second bilp with no water aint hurting nothing :)
@@Atvstevie1 Strongly disagree, sorry
@@robertwalker3168 just because an opinion is your right, doesn't mean your right 😉 BUT I respect your opinion 👍
@@Atvstevie1ok cheers steve, and I yours (sorry I cant find emojis???}
I've burned up a oil seal at the bottom of the crankshaft in 15 seconds of running with no water
I love yamahas. Le dlposite by two 40hp and 30hp Yamaha engines eats 10mes. And when I told him I belonged to lowa since April, the salesman hasn't answered me anymore. Sounds and sounds like a lowa guy.
It probley the best 25hp in the motor market that there is,,,,
Come to bali for fishing boss
That motor looks small on that boat
классный мотор, имею 9.9jmhs одни положительные эмоции
Make 2 strokes again
2-Stroke outboards are no longer permitted to be sold in Australia. Not a lot of point making something we can no longer sell by law...
So evinrude may also not sell his 2 strokes in australia?
@@rubenhoekstra4637 Evinrude are no longer making outboard engines at all
Yamaha Marine Australia sadly
@Ziggy Ewart yes they still are making parts for a 2 stroke
