Arizona Senate votes to repeal state's 1864 abortion ban statute

The Arizona Senate voted Wednesday to repeal the state's abortion ban statute. The motion to repeal the ban now heads to Governor Katie Hobbs to potentially sign. Governor Hobbs is expected to sign the repeal on Thursday. The near-total ban, which predates Arizona’s statehood, permits abortions only to save the patient's life - and provides no exceptions for survivors of rape or incest.

Pregnancy 1: not an abortion. A spontaneous miscarriage & removing a dead baby will not be banned under any abortion ban.
Pregnancy 2: early delivery is not an abortion and would not be banned. In saving the mother's life, you don't need to intentionally kill the child.

Just make your point. What’s with the theatrics and sob stories. You’re here to convince republicans. They don’t make decisions based on empathy. This is a waste of time and tax dollars. Go back and rewrite your proposal based on empirical data. Not just a single anecdotal tale
