Awesome! I bought a arca rail from Amazon that was the length I needed and used the first sling stud hole in the forend to start the first hole. Then I drilled and tapped the second towards the mag well.
Yes I drilled and tapped it for a 10-32 threads. I believe it is a .159 dia drill. I was able to actually hit the aluminum chassis in the stock for extra strength.
Hi Geremia, congratulations for your videos, I follow you from Italy, I see a splendid rail under the frame on which you put the bipod, what brand is it
I haven’t had a ton of experience with the CZ myself. But I do prefer mine over the CZ 457 based on the quality of stock with the adjustable check riser and stiffness off the aluminum chassis inside. the quality of trigger seems to be better, the barrel is heavier on the Bergara, and the mags load easier as well. Also you don’t need a dovetail to Picatinny rail to mount a scope either. I still think CZ’s are quality guns but just not what I am looking for.
@@themichiganoutdoorsman good points. Thanks for all the info. I started with a savage Mark 2FVSR I did swap out for a Boyd pro varmint stock. I’m just having fun but thinking in the future I would like to upgrade so I’ve been doing some research, I’ll be watching your channel. Thanks again.
I drilled and tapped through the aluminum chassis on the rifle after removing the QD sling mount upfront to allow the weights to be tighter to the forend . Just take your time and do it right, pay attention to how high up the forend you are going with your screw hole so you don’t accidentally hit the barrel.
I haven’t measured rim thickness yet, but ELEY team out shoots everything so far including the lot of tenex I had. With Sk long range match being second.
Awesome!! I really wish mine like the SK brand as well because the ELEY team is shooting right at speed of sound out of my barrel. I don’t like being that close to the edge.
@mikebell611 my last four scoring rounds I've shot 250, 248, 248, 249... the problem being the occasional flier. However for the price point it's satisfactory:)
Great info thanks
LUV UR B14R VIDEOS.... PRETTY EFFECTIVE 22LR IMAFU 🤔🤔🎯🎯
Hello. just purchased a b14r after watching your videos. what rail do you have on it? and did you have to do any drilling?

Begara makes great rifles.
Hello! Did you drilled through the stock to add the weights? What size drill bit size did you used? Thanks.

@@themichiganoutdoorsman Thank you sir.
Just ordered one hopefully it’s worth it
It has been worth it for me.
Yeah I like them, got one in 6.5 great rifles for the price. Awesome video mate and you’ve got yourself a good little spotter there.
Cheers

Nice, looking gun. Great video. Your thoughts on this versus a CZ457 ?

@DerekEvan Good luck with your journey and thank you!!
How did you mount the weights to the front?

What's the name and where did you buy the magnetic chamber flag? I need a couple of those@
Here is where I bought mine.

@@themichiganoutdoorsman Hey, thanks for the info.
What rim thickness brands perform the best in your opinion?
I haven’t measured rim thickness yet, but ELEY team out shoots everything so far including the lot of tenex I had. With Sk long range match being second.
@@themichiganoutdoorsman Well I tried some; however, for whatever reason, the SK Match (red box) is on point for mine! :)

@@matthewstigen8765 My carbon barrel likes SK match also. Im still testing the new MTU heavy barrel, but the SK match shoots good enough so far.

At 21:00 it sure looks like you're standing in front of your rifle w/o your chamber flag in place. 🫣😬🤣🤣 just messing with you great video!
Thanks man!
