Just put on some Nokian Hakkepliitta or Michelin/Continental studded winter bike tires on it and it will handle it great. Biggest problem will likely be the warmth of the driver, but honestly that will likely be fine too if you're properly clothed, after all tons of people bike to work and school in the middle of winter here where I live. E-bike batteries are rated to work at temperatures as low as -30C.
@@fivemer4202 it is, it has electric motors and a battery inside that drives itself when attached, just choose the electric version with those things specced.
@@swecreations where I live they don't have motors on the trailer and they're still too heavy. Base weight of trailer is around 85 pounds as far as i know. I'm not comparing them to anything it just sucks to lift and move then and they get absolutely destroyed and are too much effort to fix at that point.
Saw a lot of cargo bikes and carla trailers in NYC when we visited last month. They make so much sense there.
