I agree! The man’s talent is remarkable and he’s an absolute chameleon at totally becoming whatever character he is portraying. Plus, from what I read about him, he seems like a genuinely nice person as well as a gifted actor.
We just finished watching this and this was absolutely spectacular. one of the best dramas to watch and binge on. Great story, fantastic acting as always with David Tenant. The sound track took you along the adventure of a lifetime that was emotional, gripping and was a roller coaster ride with Phileas Fogg. Bravo.
I have already seen the first few episodes thanks to the show being released earlier here in Germany. I can definitely recommend watching it, it's amazing in every way :D
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this series!! It keeps me riveted each week and I admire the acting and nuances. It’s great to see the Anglo-Franco collaboration. That western shoot out was epic✨💯
I've seen every episode multiple times and I'm binging it again right now lol why is David Tennant so funny without even trying? 😂 The entire cast is excellent.
I have binge-watched the whole series on the BBC IPlayer. In the episode after leaving Hong Kong our heroes are marooned on an island. In that episode they discuss a submarine and sea monsters. Are the BBC teasing us with another Verne classic - about Captain Nemo?
@@thesecretmachineshop4923 This version will not resemble your childhood book, but rather bear a striking resemblance to all the woke pandering so prevalent in television today...they will shoehorn in a black and female character, make them both smart, witty, flawless and misunderstood, while simultaneously portraying Fogg (a white man, EKK!!) as a bumbling inept fool who would quickly fail without the other two to bail him out at every turn. Great show with fantastic acting..fast paced and a good old fashioned yarn. Such a change from the usual gritty police dramas and convoluted confusing plots of so many "dramas" recently like the slow unfathomable The Tourist...gave up on that after 2 boring episodes!!
I don't think there will be unfortunately. If you look 'Around the world in 80 days' it says 2021-2022. So maybe but I don't think so which is very sad.

Woke feminist dreck at its lowest common denominator. A new low for the BBC and that's saying something.
Where can I watch it?
Hans Zimmer doing the music and David Tennant in the lead role?

Have you read the book? I like David Tennant too but his portrayal feels nothing like Phileas Fogg

My favourite story.
And it looks like a good adaptation!
In which part of Jules vernes story do they fly with a baloon? Or get lost in sea?
I still believe the best adaptation of the characters is the 1989 movie
That's DOCTOR Phileas Fogg to you.

It seems some critics have been a bit sniffy (especially from the BBC hating sections of the press) but I enjoyed the first two episodes that I saw.
