Door entities can be demons since the crucifix works on them. And also, Guiding Light probably has never seen these entities and probably doesn't know what to do with them. And maybe they are also to powerful. Or I am completely wrong and they are just immune to it.

okay so I think the player works at a museum, so thats why they know the painting names except for the one near the rooms enterance, curious light is a past version of guiding light and used to help in the rooms, the reason the crucifix and candle doesn't work in the rooms is because curious light didn't know how to use those at the time, the reason the rooms are locked is because guiding light didn't want the player to see the past, the reason it still doesn't work in the hotel is because the entities from the rooms are from a different timeline, so guiding light can't interact with them, but we can since we traveled to the rooms the painting near the rooms is to represent the connection between timelines
Ngl rooms reminding me of endless doors, endless doors the only reason why i comleted a-1000 being one of the first 300 people that did it, rooms is so easy compare to endless doors, having only 3 entitys, and 2 of them (a-60 and a-120) are basicaly the same, and a-90 easy to counter, a-60 is litteraly the same as in endless doors, and a-90 is like purple light in endless doors, and there much more entitys in endless doors, its really good game to play if you liked the rooms in doors, low quality, hard gameplay, lot of entitys, and just giving the same vibe as rooms veing completely silent (exept some rooms with music)
The Crucifix doesn’t work on ANY of the entities in Rooms since the Crucifix is mainly powered by the Guiding light back in the Hotel. So is the candle since both the crucifix and the candle is powered by The Guiding light in the Hotel, WHICH is why when holding the candle and crucifix in Rooms, it says “Your crucifix (or candle) feels lighter then normal..” Which means that most of its main source of power has been drained.
The Actual reason you cant crucify them is probably due to the way the entities were coded, As it was probably easier to just not add the part of code that makes then crucifiable instead of adding more code that makes the crucifix disabled in the rooms, as not only is it MORE Unnecessary code it could also be really buggy. If (Somehow) you were able to Summon rush in the rooms using admin commands you would probably be able to crucify him as its easier to just not make the rooms entities crucifiable.
Their either too strong to be crucified, strong enough the crucifix wouldn't crucify them and them escaping from the chains, or Guiding Light doesn't care.
The only reason the crusifix doesnt work in the rooms because curious light (aka the orange light) isnt steong enough or doesn't understand how to properly guiding light should be able to crusify the rooms entities the only reason would be that guiding light doesnt know how to handle the rooma entities properly

This logic should only work in The Rooms, since Guiding Light cannot reach you in there. I'd understand A-90, since you can't crucify something that isn't there the moment after a jumpscare would typically occur, but with A-60 and A-120, it should work just fine in The Hotel. Also, why doesn't Curious Light power the Crucifix in The Rooms? If they're powerful enough to leave The Rooms to ignite the entrance TO The Rooms, why can't they do it in THEIR OWN FRICKIN' DOMAIN??? They do WANT YOU to escape The Rooms with them, as they say in the later death lines, so either Curious Light is stupid, or Guiding Light as INSANELY ignorant.
