Played an artista concerto at Sweetwater and it sounded amazing. Lush but clear. It liked loud strumming and sounded great finger picked. Highly recommend

I had Breedlove, loved it! Gave it to my high school. One thing that surprises me is that Breedlove demos seem to always have player picking or strumming below the sound hole. Why? I'd like to hear the center hole and top of the sound hole sounds.

I'm so glad Breedlove came out with this series. It allowed me to buy the original organic signature series concert copper ce at a clearance price below $350! Saving me about $800 over the pro series.
Things that I don't like about the new pro series. The tops aren't torrified like the original series. The electronics are mounted into the wood. Whereas the original was internal. Why cut out good quality wood? The bracing is not based on improving the sound based on the wood used. It is based on the shape of a mountain range. Bracing should be carved to improve the sound of the individual soundboard.
The organic pro series are probably good guitars. But I like the deal I got on the original organic series
Update. Breedlove using half the glue was a bad idea. 2 weeks after buying the guitar the fretboard came un glued from the 14th fretboard to the soundhole.

I never heard of a Sound hole Monitor, I guess that is a new name?

Breedlove likes to "re-brand" existing technology. The "Sound Hole Monitor" is a port and has been around for years (great feature but hardly new). Breedlove is also re-branding scalloped braces, another technique used for decades to balance tone, as Cascade Bracing, saying that it mirrors the mountain ranges where the guitars are built. Breedlove makes some fine guitars but is known for its "creative" marketing. Always read the fine print when purchasing (learned that the hard way).

Man that dude plays right on the bridge. These guitars sound much better than this.

Were the guitars mic'd up or direct? There was a bit of honkiness and thinness in the sound (and I'm listening with a decent pair of headphones).
I have a Breedlove ECO Discovery S Concert Western Red Cedar-African Mahogany and acoustically it has a much richer and warmer sound than any of the guitars demonstrated here which was surprising. I'm assuming they sound better in person and it's just something that happened translating to RUclips.
I love Breedlove guitars so I was excited to hear about this new series but disappointed in the way the guitars sounded here.
I'll have to try one at Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan at some point.

      Agree. "Honkiness" says it all.

I also agree on the "honk" and thinness in this video. Fortunately today I was able to visit a dealer close by who just got in the Pro Perfomer line. I can assure you they sound a lot better in person when played acoustically. I didn't plug in. I tried a few models (concert size) including the Solo with the sound hole...definitely a robust and warm tone thanks to the cedar top. The only model I found lacking ( thin sounding, missing bottom end) was the Thinline. But I think it's more of a stage guitar that sounds best when plugged in. It's too bad Sweetwater couldn't have done a better job with the audio in this clip.

He is also playing very close to the bridge which will always give a thin/bright sound. I'd love to hear it finger style in DADGAD (and plucked nearer to the sound hole).

Out of tune, over-driving the guitars, really impossible to overlook the "player" and hear the instrument on this demo. Not a good look for your brand, Sweetwater. Shame.

Please report using a decent and sensitive guitarist to bring the best out of the instruments, rather than someone who, franly, just hacks at each guitar without any attention to its individual characteristic...

I've been interested in maybe getting a Breedlove... This video was not helpful. The sound is dead, like old strings. And the guitar out of tune. Nothing against the guitarist. But you need to demo your guitars with guitarist that are on the same level of inspiration as the guitars your selling.
